Note it's actually a manga. Left to right. Why? Who knows.

Okay at first I was thinking it was a Wizard h-doujin, but then I thought that was silly. But maybe not so silly!

Edit: But then again, we did have Karn and Shadehawk talking to each other over the phone... So maybe reality doesn't work as it should.

Don't you mean talking to Wrench?

Don't you mean talking to Wrench?

I figure Wrench would know the tech trick he gave her.

Nothing I said technically proves it isn't.

Reality broke down a long time ago. CMC has the messingite church in it's reality story, which also exists in the Adventures! world, while CMC is a game in the Adventures! world and both of those games are also games in Antihero-for hire with Mechazor L being a show on it which has a comic based on Antihero for hire inside, and everything mentioned before are all cards in CMC.

But Wrench was seen playing the game, while Shadey seemed complete uninterested.

I think you have it backwards. She doesn't care because she has the boat, which makes her virtually useless. She might get excited if there were an aquatic enemy to fight.

RE: Volume H3: Mechazor L Holiday Special - masamunemaniac - 12-20-2010 06:01 AM

Even if that was the case, she's probably watched enough formulaic battle sequences to have lost interest in even that (knowing that one Zor will not be enough to win and they'll need to merge into Mechazor L regardless).

EDIT: Actually wrote that before reading today's comic... yeah, it would definitely be the same if she had to fight an aquatic enemy.

RE: Volume H3: Mechazor L Holiday Special - Bugle - 12-24-2010 01:21 AM

And that's how Mechazor L saved X-mas...

And destroyed half of Mechazortopia.

RE: Volume H3: Mechazor L Holiday Special - Darg - 12-24-2010 08:48 PM

I'm hoping "And that's for Santa!" becomes the next hot Net meme...

A little collateral damage never hurt anyone.

Well, apart from all the people that it did.

RE: Volume H3: Mechazor L Holiday Special - Bugle - 12-31-2010 05:25 AM

Totally.

Called it.

RE: Volume H3: Mechazor L Holiday Special - masamunemaniac - 12-31-2010 05:50 AM

Makes me wonder what a dark and gritty modern remake (as is the trend for movies nowadays) of Power Rangers would be like.

RE: Volume H3: Mechazor L Holiday Special - Darg - 12-31-2010 07:15 AM

Shoddy lean-tos made out of the debris of the city, citizen populace huddling around the burning, shattered remains of their lives for warmth, scavenging for whatever little food remains while around them, monsters run amuck, maiming and murdering the survivors.
Meanwhile, in isolated areas, of the ruined city, the no-nonsense, gritty and dour Rangers wage bloody battle with the monstrous forces with little regard to the collateral damage of their conflicts. Years of near-constant conflict, and witnessing the almost total devastation of their beloved and once-thriving metropolis, have hardened and jaded the Rangers to the destruction and desensitized them to the point of not being able to care about the loss of lives they were meant to protect.
Long ago disheartened by the moral degradation of their hand-picked "heroes", the team's enigmatic and all-wise mentor has retreated into silent isolation, closing off the Rangers' access to their former secret headquarters. In his depression, he deactivated his robotic assistant and allowed the headquarters to fall into disrepair around him.
Meanwhile, the Great Evil of This Season, emboldened by the successive destruction of their never-ending onslaught of monstrous attacks, has moved their evil lair from the Moon to the least-devastated part of the crumbling city, in order to inflict even more damage quicker and establish a foothold from which they can launch their ultimate world-domination plan, just as soon as they finally and decisively destroy the Rangers.
Who will emerge victorious? Who will fall in defeat? Who will survive the final conflict? Who will rebuild the city? Who will comfort and reimburse the frightened, shattered and despondent civilian populace for their loss of property, life, as well as emotional, mental and physical hardship? Does anyone really care in the face of so much CGI carnage goodness?

RE: Volume H3: Mechazor L Holiday Special - Milo - 12-31-2010 11:01 AM

Oh come on, I'm sure that half of the city was abandoned.

RE: Volume H3: Mechazor L Holiday Special - Wanderer - 01-02-2011 09:41 PM

Everyone knows those battles all take place in the abandoned warehouse district.

RE: Volume H3: Mechazor L Holiday Special - Milo - 01-03-2011 02:22 AM

Right. The abandoned warehouse district which occupies half the city.

RE: Volume H3: Mechazor L Holiday Special - masamunemaniac - 01-03-2011 02:31 AM

Well you'd expect it to be abandoned after having been obliterated and rebuilt a few times. Who repopulates these places while the aliens are still attacking?
