RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - kyrtuck - 08-12-2011 12:29 PM Ah, I was wondering what happened to the Canadian cyborg guy. Oh, and Canadian bears aren't that tough...or at least the ones on Total Drama Island weren't. RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Darg - 08-12-2011 04:47 PM I'm no expert but it seems to me like using Total Drama Island as a realistic reference for ... well, anything wouldn't work. That's like using fossils from Antarctica to figure the evolutionary timeline of polar bears. RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - kyrtuck - 08-13-2011 11:17 AM Not even for an unrealistic webcomic that portrays an unrealistic future, that employs a nearly as simplistic art style? You no fun. RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Milo - 08-13-2011 11:56 AM In an unrealistic webcomic that portrays an unrealistic future, bears are exactly as tough as the plot requires them to be. No more and no less. RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Darg - 08-14-2011 06:05 AM And with no "bear"ing* on other pop culture references. *I'm so sorry! I couldn't resist! RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - masamunemaniac - 08-15-2011 05:37 PM So, irony sense isn't a superpower? RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Bugle - 08-15-2011 05:56 PM Shade's lucky his adversary went 3-2-1 then go and not 3-2-1 go. RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - kyrtuck - 08-16-2011 08:01 AM I predict that in the ensuing fight, Shadehawk will trick Crown into blasting a hole in the wall. I'm thinking Crown has near-cosmic power, judging by the way he scared all those black-whatever villains. RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Blue_Elite - 08-16-2011 11:42 AM You know it just occurred to me: is Shadehawk essentially Ardam if he was the title character instead of Karn? His power was reduced to a fraction when he was wished free. This was well-demonstrated in both the TV series, and the 2nd and 3rd sequels. RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Bugle - 08-18-2011 01:22 PM As a genie he had "phenomenal cosmic powers" As a freed genie, he had semi-phenomenal, nearly-cosmic powers. And you said near-cosmic =P RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - masamunemaniac - 08-18-2011 05:42 PM You both seem to have very different standards for what counts as "cosmic" and "near-cosmic" power. RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Milo - 08-18-2011 06:19 PM Oh shut up or I'll destroy the universe RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - kyrtuck - 08-18-2011 07:24 PM (08-18-2011 05:42 PM)masamunemaniac Wrote: You both seem to have very different standards for what counts as "cosmic" and "near-cosmic" power. Well, I at least know that your kiss is cosmic... *banned for referencing Katy Perry* RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Bugle - 08-18-2011 07:27 PM (08-18-2011 05:42 PM)masamunemaniac Wrote: You both seem to have very different standards for what counts as "cosmic" and "near-cosmic" power. Hey, don't blame me. He said "near-cosmic" which is (mostly) what Genie says. Later he said Genie doesn't have cosmic power (which isn't the same as near-cosmic). Honestly, I think he's just confused. RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Bugle - 08-18-2011 11:35 PM Awwww, Kitties for my birthday! Well, the day after, technically, but it's sitll my birthday in my timezone, so still... But anyway, yay kitties! RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - masamunemaniac - 08-19-2011 04:30 AM Catgirls would have been better! RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Bugle - 08-19-2011 05:08 AM I don't have the Sleepy Weblordrunner cats memorized, but it's possible one or two of those cats are girls! RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - masamunemaniac - 08-19-2011 06:01 AM We should release all of them as catgirl and catboy CMC cards! |
