May 10012?

Either AFH takes place slightly less than 98,000 years in the future, or these people's laziness rivals masa's.

AFH is set in... either the year 2114 or 2144 (then add on a few years for however much time has passed in the story since the beginning). We should really get a couple of people to fix up its wikipedia article.

Also, that'd be 8k years, not 98k Icon_razz

Surprised the construction is taking so long? You've obviously not tried driving anywhere in Canada.

I've never been to Canada so I can't say myself, but for a moment, I almost got Canada mixed up with Pennsylvania. PennDot seems to always take their time doing anything. It seems anytime I drive past a construction area, they're doing more standing than actually working.

Let's pretend my finger slipped instead of me failing to do simple subtraction.

What we have in canada isn't a case of lazyness, its' out of shear bloody-minded insistance to constantly resurface or expand every highway and street in the country, sometimes at once. I swear once they tore up the same road to work on the same water pipes three times in a row.

It was actually four times; they did it twice in one day, but one of those times was while you were asleep so you didn't notice...
True story.

Just noticed from this update that Canadaram apparently has an androgynous voice. Do we know his/her gender from elsewhere?

Stealth heavy machinery tiem.

RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Darg - 01-20-2012 05:34 PM

"Stealth heavy machinery" sounds like such an oxymoron...

Speaking of oxymorons... "Explosives" and "subtle" should never be in the same sentence together unless separated by some variation of "aren't".
...
Well, actually, there have been some pretty underwhelming explosions on Mythbusters so I have to add the caveat, "When used to make rivers".

RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Bugle - 01-21-2012 03:14 AM

Good thing they weren't used in the same sentence, then, huh? <3

RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Darg - 01-22-2012 04:25 AM

Damn you and your logic! Damn you to ... uh, logic heck...

RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - masamunemaniac - 01-27-2012 06:24 AM

Wait, so Shadehawk actually pulled off a heavy machinery sneak attack and killed Governer General Guy? That's impressive, even before considering who it was.

And seems to have inherited his mace and powers by doing so?

RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Bugle - 01-27-2012 07:48 AM

I think we just missed a magical girl transformation sequence.

RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - masamunemaniac - 01-27-2012 08:29 AM

webrunner should put AFH onto some sites like TopWebComics and such, and then give us stuff like that as voting incentives.

RE: Phase 13.1: From Far and Wide; A Royal Beating (part one) - Loyle - 01-27-2012 10:29 AM

So Shadehawk is going to get magic Canadianity powers? Or turn Canadian?

In the name of the Mace, he will punish you! ☆ ع(>_o)ノ
