RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Darg - 07-18-2012 09:32 AM That has yet to be substantiated with a true, factual origin story... RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Bugle - 07-18-2012 02:15 PM There are things Coldworth said that weren't true?!? RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Darg - 07-19-2012 12:07 PM Only just about everything, at least in regards to his dozen or so origin stories. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Bugle - 07-19-2012 01:11 PM You, sir, have blown my mind. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - masamunemaniac - 07-20-2012 07:48 AM So, are animations going to be a thing with Excalibur then? RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - webrunner - 07-20-2012 09:41 AM I'm experimenting with them. If they work out well I might make it a regular thing. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Wanderer - 07-20-2012 03:26 PM Hmm... after seeing several updates, I think Crossroad's limbs are just too spindly. It's kind of freaky. In other news, she doesn't quite seem to be talking like herself. I wonder if she's possessed. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - masamunemaniac - 07-23-2012 03:46 AM If you were freaked out by the spinly arms before, then you don't really want to look at today's comic Though, I think the animation effect worked really well in that last panel today. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Bugle - 08-10-2012 03:31 AM A shocking turn of events. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Bugle - 08-14-2012 03:02 PM Wait wait wait... Excalibur turns people into The King of Cold? Just not exclusive to ice puns. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - masamunemaniac - 08-22-2012 04:58 AM Coldular's weaves icy homographs, near-homographs, and words-that-you-can-kind-of-see-where-he's-coming-from-but-really-aren't-homographs into his words. Occasionally they're homophones too, but for a lot of them you'd expect them to pretty awkward to articeulate as actual speech. Crossroad used a straight up pun though, which is pretty different. If anything, it seems more like the kind of joke Shadehawk might make than The King of Ice. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - kyrtuck - 08-29-2012 02:31 PM What, no hot lesbian sex? For shame! Brian K. Vaughan must surely be rolling in his grave now....if he was dead I mean. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Amanda Lynn - 08-29-2012 02:43 PM I'm sure that can be arranged. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - masamunemaniac - 08-30-2012 03:50 AM Well there's always the opportunity for after-fight sex. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - masamunemaniac - 09-05-2012 05:46 PM Oh hey, tails that don't overshoot their speech bubbles! But also larger text out of nowhere... RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Milo - 09-15-2012 02:52 PM Okay, I know we have several colorblind people on this forum. Do any of them think this interior looks good? RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - masamunemaniac - 09-19-2012 09:47 AM Not especially, but then maybe it's more fashionable in the future? Or maybe you need to wear 3D glasses to really appreciate it. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Bugle - 09-28-2012 09:22 AM So Excalibur makes people unstoppable, has lightning powers, and makes you change your title shortly after picking it up and keeping it? ...Sounds more like Balmung. ...Which is a reference no one is going to get. RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - masamunemaniac - 09-28-2012 10:28 AM I guess Who cares about balance, eh? RE: Crossroad: Legends and Tales - Q99 - 10-01-2012 12:53 AM I liked this story! And I felt the art style came together more as it went on. |
