Zemyla can watch as much as he likes, but he actually has the option of stopping whenever he wants.

Plot-death people don't. General Leo presumably didn't. Aeris didn't. In fact, most members of your party don't, either. The only people that do vanish are villains. Even there, plenty of villains only vanish in-battle.

Galuf comes to mind as a counterexample. I'm sure he's not the only one.

the prince guy from FF2j (in dawn of souls, for instance) also vanishes (which sort of ruins the otherwise rather dramatic moment)

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Darg - 08-30-2006 05:13 PM

E-mouse Wrote:Dargon fails. He is to watch Monty Python reruns for 3d4 hours or until he gets it, or both.
So, how long is "3d4 hours"? I don't have those kinds of clocks in my house...
Not that it matters. At the risk of getting smited into next year, I really, really, really don't like Monty Python. At all. I've seen some, and didn't care for it.
...
* Darg prepares to dodge incoming Smitiness of Doomyness for as long as humanly possible.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Milo - 08-30-2006 05:53 PM

* Milo observes, hesitates for a few seconds, and then takes battle position besides Dargon.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - shaventalz - 08-30-2006 06:02 PM

*lobs a Holy Hand Grenade at Darg's position*

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Milo - 08-30-2006 06:06 PM

* Milo notes that Shaventalz failed to count to three first.
* Milo counts to three, then lobs the hand grenade back.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - shaventalz - 08-30-2006 06:13 PM

*pullest the pin*
*countest to three, not continuing on to four. Three is the number of the counting, and the number that was counted was three. Five is right out*
*lobest the Holy Hand Grenade back at Darg's position, that it might mercifully blow them to bits*

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Milo - 08-30-2006 06:27 PM

Ah, the pin. I knew I forgot something.

* Milo lunges forward and hits the grenade back with his +5 Sledgehammer of Smiting, hoping that the hammer's destructive power won't simply ruin the grenade entirely.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - shaventalz - 08-30-2006 06:40 PM

Ah, you can defend against grenades. But can you defend yourself against...
A BANANA?

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Milo - 08-30-2006 06:42 PM

* Milo shudders.

Dargon, this one's up to you! I'm counting on you!

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Chris B - 08-30-2006 06:45 PM

Psst. Dargon. Make him drop the banana, then you eat the banana, thus disarming him. I find the best way to make him drop it is to shoot him in the chest.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - shaventalz - 08-30-2006 06:55 PM

*puts on a bulletproof, tiger-repelling, anti-explosive, weight-nullifiing garment*

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Fanirar - 08-30-2006 10:13 PM

Well, I spent all of five minutes to prepare an adiquate response for webrunner.

Hint: Google a binary to text converter if you don't understand it.

Now on to the topic on hand...
* Fanirar brandishes a Flamethrower.
Toasty.

It would help if you mentioned which side you're fighting on.

So I know whether to blow up your fuel tank or not.

Well, now you've ruined Antihero's ending. Are you happy now?

The wind, (or NightWind to be exact) drops a cool looking banner into the area with the words :

Join The Open Tournament! UNLEASH YOUR POWER!

The wind happily flies around the place...
