How could Argent possibly lead to a sequel?
Besides, most RPG "sequels" are for the most part pretty much completely unrelated to the games before them, save a basic premise. Often they're not even set in the same time/world.

The sequel will involve Blanc subverting the government and making killing monsters illegal, causing all the heroes to lose their jobs so that when Bleu leads an army of puny bards to take over the world, there will be no-one left to stop them. Argent will remain dead.
