I'm fairly certain that he's some obscure NPC, but I lack the initiative to look through all the archives for someone who looks like him.

It's obviously the lovechild of Dirlend and Mizuna.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Kajitani-Eizan - 09-02-2006 03:16 PM

not sure who the guy on stage is, but the play is obviously "Tales of Eternia".

EDIT: er wait, is it the LV99 character that joined for like, 5 seconds?

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Sekele - 09-02-2006 03:38 PM

that is actually possible

I was allredy asking my self what happened to him

ps.
he allso should get a epilogue, becouse technically he is a party member

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - masamunemaniac - 09-02-2006 04:25 PM

It's The Axe, I'm 99% certain.

His hair is about the same size (can't see the style at that zoom), and the R and G values are just 1pt out, with the B value spot-on. His left eye is also entirely grey, which would be the mechaeyecoverthingy. Plus acting is a common bard skill in addition to singing. You can't really make out any robotic parts under those clothes, but it's possible that they could have been removed (If he could find a high level white mage to restore him up afterwards, this might be hard) or that they're just concealed under the full bodywrap clothing he's wearing.

High level white mage = Lumi.

I doubt it though.

Erm, yeah, totally slipped my mind of course. It wasn't an attempt at humour or anything.
To show my gratitude, have a 1x Whizrom. [Image: whizrom.png]

There is at least one other person who was in the party temporarily - the guy who Karn bought the expensive gold armor for, and who then left.

Also, maybe the guy whose wallet Drecker took.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Kajitani-Eizan - 09-02-2006 08:07 PM

i had the impression the wallet guy wasn't a temporary party member, but someone who joined forces with them for a bit. that guy also looked like Dias.

the gold armor guy counts though. (incidentally, he looks like Ras, also from Eternia.)

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - webrunner - 09-02-2006 08:16 PM

It's Dirlend.

Also yes it's Eternia.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Chris B - 09-02-2006 08:33 PM

Uh... I was half right, I guess.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Sekele - 09-03-2006 02:43 AM

OK
But really, will we ever find out what became of that gold armour guy (or atleast get a link to his comic)

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - masamunemaniac - 09-03-2006 08:44 AM

Argent's Epilogue.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - *NightWind* - 09-03-2006 10:29 AM

In other words, he changed some other bad guys into good guys and then just took his weekly final "nap" by the tree?

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Milo - 09-03-2006 12:20 PM

I don't get why people want to claim Argent is alive so badly.

Don't you people have any sense for melodrama? The story is much cooler with him passing away with a smile on his face, taking in nature's beauty for one last time and accepting his fate, than if he anticlimactically gets up again and gets on with his life. Argent lived fairly long already, achieved his goal in life and expired in a place he liked.

Don't you get it? Claiming Argent is alive cheapens the character and his story.

ARGENT WANTS TO BE DEAD. HE'S HAPPIER THIS WAY. HIS LIFE IS COMPLETE.

Damnit, Milo, now I'm torn.

Because by now you REALLY should know Webby's the king of anticlimax.

Now we can't be sure. Icon_sad

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Shadowhunter - 09-03-2006 01:09 PM

He didn't achieve his goal in life, though- he wanted Khrima to take over the world.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - SHP - 09-03-2006 01:41 PM

Yeah, though he might've actually counted on that happening anyway. If he knew about the Khrimalith that is...

In regards to the comic; "Lumi: The Vampire Slayer", anyone Icon_razz?

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - shaventalz - 09-03-2006 01:56 PM

No, he wanted ORDER to the world - with no hero, the world can go back to what passes as 'normal'. With a hero, everyone has to bend their schedules to accomodate him.

Karn beating the game easily fulfills Argent's wish.

Or, ya know, the exact opposite of that.
Argent is standing against the current flow of the world, seeing it's people as lazy and corrupt willing to do anything to go against that flow. It's the 'Delitia' syndrome. In an attempt to stop evil, you become it yourself.
