Blue Chrisanary gets ten thousand points and a series of tubes.

It's listed on the information page, so it must be a long-standing reference, but I've been reading Adventurers since the beginning, and I'll be damned if I can remember a reference to Drecker hating mountains.

Drecker and mountains do not mix...it's just a fact of life...like how Karn completely understands the world around him ^^

I'm actually thinking of making a series of tubes model to decorate my computer. Appropriate, ne?

Apparently, only Ardam, Tesla, and Lumi have stayed true to their class. Drecker isn't stealing, Spybot isn't spying, Karn isn't swording, and Chookie isn't being cute.

Well, he could be funding his travels through theft. You never know.
Now where's that "Flatten The Earth Society" image gotten to? Icon_biggrin

EDIT: I was going to try to work in a joke about a sandwich ruining the drama Dirlend was acting in, but couldn't make it fit.

I'm telling you, it's a parallel universe!

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - SHP - 09-07-2006 01:33 AM

Nah, none of the characters have goatees. It can't be a parallel universe without any of the characters having a goatee. That would put all our advanced metaphysics on it's ass.

Also, this makes me kinda wonder regarding the Decker and Karashi relationship, mainly because she *does* live on a friggin' mountain...

She said something about planning to move during the final battle. I think it was while Spybot was punching Khrima lots.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Darg - 09-07-2006 02:00 AM

Yeah, facial hair is a must in alternate universes. Even if the entire cast is female. There was a Sliders where they jumped into a world where women had mustaches and beards, so there's precedent.. It was...creepy.
But that's not the point. The point is...what was the point? Oh, right, just about every alternate universe has had people with facial hair where they didn't have extra facial hair in the "normal" universe; Mirror Spock, Ultimate X-Men's Wolverine, others that I can't name off the top of my head at the moment.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Sekele - 09-07-2006 09:46 AM

waet a minute, Wolwerine HAS facial hair

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Zemyla - 09-07-2006 10:35 AM

That's because he's already from an alternate universe.

That's because he's already from an alternate universe.

Oh, snap!

Oh, snap!

*shakes fist* I see what you did there!

Though, the witticism responses would have been even better if they were treated like seperate responses with similar but non-identical content.

Sekele Wrote:waet a minute, Wolwerine HAS facial hair
But, in the normal universe, it's not a goatee, and in Ultimate it is. So, my point still stands.

Damn! I want her to be my dentist! I freakin' hate having to lie in that damn chair for two hours.

Also, there needs to be a Abominable Snowman somewhere in that comic.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Eidolon X - 09-08-2006 12:22 AM

Gotta get back! Back to the past! Ninja Karashi!

Man, I wish Karashi was my dentist. I wonder how she found out about it though? Just a pamphlet by AkuCorp or something?

Trivia: in the ULTIMATE "Hey it's Epilogue, not Ending" post, Eidolon commented on the comic itself, rather than comparing it to Samurai Jack. However, an allusion was retained in the form of giving "Aku" - the villain from Samurai Jack - a cameo in the form of a corporation's name.

Eidolon has repeatedly denied that the two posts will cross over, leading to speculation that his next post will be identical to the original post's continuity, only with zombies.

There's something I've noticed about each Epilogue, and that's that in none of them are the significant others, when applicable, mentioned.

What might that mean? Do they all split? Or is there something specific Webrunner's saving that mention for?

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - SHP - 09-08-2006 02:00 AM

Not all, Ardam and Tesla appearantly stays together.

RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Oddcube - 09-08-2006 02:38 AM

If she "already has enough gold," (and I'm assuming that the gold from all the adventuring was divied to each party member making each of them blindingly rich, and any of her weapons from late in the game would sell for silly amounts anyway) why would she need a job?

Of course she may just have way too much free time.
