RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Raddra - 09-23-2006 10:27 AM hahaha.. professional drowningball.. awesome. I was thinking i was the only one who thought blitzball was stupid and unfeasable too.. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - shaventalz - 09-23-2006 11:17 AM It's not unfeasable - it's magical. With magically-enhanced oxygenated water. Of magic. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Legendary - 09-23-2006 12:02 PM That seems totally not nonsensical. And, duh: Phoenix Downs! Argent lives. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Shadowhunter - 09-23-2006 01:24 PM Legendary Zeppelin IV Wrote:And, duh: Phoenix Downs! Argent lives. *sniffs* You make me so happy! :) RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - shaventalz - 09-23-2006 03:44 PM Actually, most phoenix downs only cure FNT. Yet more proof that you guys are idiots. Uh-huh. Totally. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Sekele - 09-23-2006 04:51 PM this is devoted fan lol RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - shaventalz - 09-23-2006 06:08 PM Nope, he's only fainted. Karn's the one that knows how the world works, remember, and even he says that Ardam only fainted. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Legendary - 09-23-2006 06:13 PM Then "passed away" is obviously ADV-verse slang for fainted. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Milo - 09-23-2006 06:17 PM RPG characters are remarkable resillient in battle mode. Even Gildward wouldn't actually DIE when hit in the head by an axe, though it might do 9999 damage. Argent, fortunately, perished in a cutscene. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - *NightWind* - 09-23-2006 09:08 PM Perished? Nah, he just RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Shadowhunter - 09-23-2006 09:14 PM And he gave Karn the power for the final meteor-cutting strike, by choosing to end his existence permenantly from whatever afterlife he'd ended up in. To save the world. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - chaosgirl - 09-23-2006 09:19 PM Ah, so that's how he did it And blitzball makes me laugh ^^ It should so be renamed drownageball! RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - shaventalz - 09-23-2006 09:26 PM Sorry, but Eternion doesn't bother with any wimpy Sleep attacks. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Shadowhunter - 09-23-2006 09:26 PM I didn't actually mind blitz/drownball in FFX, but X-2 ruined it completely. It's an...odd...concept, though. And Blanc joining it is, once again, TOTALLY unpredicatable. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Fighter143 - 09-23-2006 10:03 PM shaventalz Wrote:Nope, he's only fainted. Karn's the one that knows how the world works, remember, and even he says that Ardam only fainted. wait...wait...nope sorry, that theory doesnt check out. He's dead unfortuntly. Why? here's the evidence: 1. Had a BROKEN ARM. That is evidence that Agent really was wounded bad, unlike in RPGs no matter how many times your character gets smacked by meteors, they'll not suffer any physical injury. 2. Althought the RPG mechanics argument sounds feasible, Argent died IN A CUTSCENE and there is a body. Fighter-EDIT: *NightWind* Wrote:Perished? Nah, he just did you HAVE to do that E?...man that was the best laugh I had today. Mus: My work here is done. *fwoosh!* RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - E-mouse - 09-23-2006 10:06 PM Nightwind, your grammar is horrible. Don't make me play cleanup so much. Also also, I agree that Drowningball is a superior name for that stupid sport in FFX. I'm almost tempted to try and organize a wikipedia raid/prank to rename all instances of it. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Flipkat - 09-23-2006 10:55 PM I've...never heard of it, so I can only imagine what it looks like. Synchronized swimming as a team sport? RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - E-mouse - 09-23-2006 11:02 PM 'Blitzball' is more like soccer, underwater, and with a mediocre RPG-style numbered stat system. Look it up if you're particularly curious. |
