RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Shadowhunter - 08-21-2006 02:54 AM A Design Your Own Dungeon, perhaps? Blocks don't consitute a sidequest. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Sekele - 08-21-2006 03:37 AM hey, actually loosing a legendary sword is a good thing, atleast you can make a sidequest about it RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - chaosgirl - 08-21-2006 04:09 AM No doubt that'll be part of the next generation's quests...only to have it taken back by Karn to give to his dad ^^ Karn: So that's where it's been! *takes sword and leaves new generation to fight weaponless* RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - DeusLupus - 08-21-2006 04:40 AM ~Shadow~ Wrote:A Design Your Own Dungeon, perhaps? Blocks don't consitute a sidequest. No, but in the ADV! universe, they seem to nearly always be a part of them. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Shadowhunter - 08-21-2006 06:35 AM Part of a dungeon, yes. But only part. They aren't a full dungeon, which is often the sidequest. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - shaventalz - 08-21-2006 06:44 AM That new ultimate evil actually reminds me of Ardam, but with your standard Evil Eyes and Collar. And what would be the reward for the Push-at-Home Block Set, anyway? Maybe it's just Karn's version of a home gym. You've just inspired me to make a Temple of the Great Pushing Block for the ADV RPG. A massive dungeon consisting entirely of numerous block puzzles. I'm sure shaven will love it. Also, you put the blocks in the kitchen. Getting snacks out the fridge is the reward. Although it'd be a royal pain for whoever does cooking/washing up/putting away the groceries. And I expect the block puzzles are a for-kids sort of thing: What better way to pretend to be a legendary hero than to take part in his favorite pastime? Hero - Lord Petrus - 08-21-2006 08:11 AM Hello everyone, and may the hell burn the "present yourself" forums. About the "but not named Hero, that's somebody else" joke, I still don't understand why IanJ quit. I discovered webcomics whit RPGworld, and was run to despair by this infinite hiatus. Maybe IanJ was just bored about people overreacting like I do. Well, there still Adventurers (but not for long anymore), Dungeon and Denizens, and even the Dana Ellen Shive parody about those games. That's all. Mark Shallow woke up my nostalgia, and I had to express it. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - TheTubstar - 08-21-2006 08:50 AM Ok is it just me, or does the new evil look like either Shadehawk with green glasses or Dr. Nefarious (with green glasses)?? He got a job in the animation industry RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - masamunemaniac - 08-21-2006 09:24 AM And one of the universe's great secrets was revealed. Anticlimax. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - E-mouse - 08-21-2006 09:45 AM And here I was wondering if the "Ian Jacobi" roommate I'm gonna have this year could be a celebrity. Internet celebrity, but still. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - masamunemaniac - 08-21-2006 10:06 AM I'm sure you could parade him as Ian Jones Quartey without anyone realising. Think your new roommate has an affinity for being pelted with various farm produce and rocks? RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Leander - 08-21-2006 05:23 PM Here's an easier to distinguish version of the mysterious new evil. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - E-mouse - 08-21-2006 07:30 PM It actually looks like Risenden to me. The cloak is the main part. Though I wish you could see more of the hair... RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Milo - 08-21-2006 07:50 PM You mean Risdenen? This nitpicking brought to you by Ardam & co. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - E-mouse - 08-21-2006 07:54 PM I guess I'll have to correct that typo! No, not that one. The other one. Yeah. RE: Hey, it's Epilogue, not Ending - Flipkat - 08-21-2006 10:51 PM I daresay it's no one we know, or ever will, most likely. That weapon (scroll?) is unfamiliar. Hard to distinguish hair from clothes...oh, spoon, it could just be wearing a glowstick for all we know, and have normal, non-glowy eyes. |
