RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - Chris B - 12-21-2006 05:01 PM Wind does not have a consciousness though, so how can you be posting if you have no mind to formulate the post with? So just give us some solid facts! THE TRUTH WILL BE REVEALED! RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - shaventalz - 12-21-2006 07:19 PM How do you know wind isn't concious? Are you wind? Seems like the best course of action would be to ask wind if it thinks, and listen for an answer. RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - masamunemaniac - 12-21-2006 07:31 PM Inanimate objects don't refuse to give me consent. Also, they generally don't prompt me to gain consent in the first place. No, that doesn't mean I rape inanimate objects, damnit! RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - Shadowhunter - 12-21-2006 08:47 PM No, "wind", I meant that wind doesn't stay in any one spot for long. Myriad's, as you bring up, doesn't. RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - *NightWind* - 12-21-2006 10:02 PM As wind, I can safely say, I have no solid complexion or form. Shaventalz Wrote:How do you know wind isn't concious? Are you wind?Humans have nerves, wind has quantum computers made of the elements found in the air.  And yes, this could be considered an answer, though not as devastating as hurricanes. Masa Wrote:Inanimate objects don't refuse to give me consent.Hey, if we're all users on this forum that exists as text, doesn't that make us all inanimate?  I wonder if Masa's inanimate? RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - shaventalz - 12-21-2006 10:41 PM No, our words are inanimate. Us, the forumites, are animate, with an inanimate extension into the forums, an 'avatar', if you will. RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - E-mouse - 12-21-2006 10:42 PM My usual one appears to like cheese wiz. My current one hates my guts. <3 RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - shaventalz - 12-21-2006 10:51 PM Zo, vat does that tell you about your true zelf, hm? RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - Shadowhunter - 12-21-2006 11:31 PM Zat you are insane. RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance - BOOK COMING SOON - Darg - 12-22-2006 02:17 AM Aren't we all? shaventalz Wrote:How do you know wind isn't concious? Are you wind?Sometimes I wonder if the wind that blows around my house isn't; it seems awfully determined at times to topple trees into my house and rip the roof off. More the former than the latter, though. RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - shaventalz - 12-22-2006 01:59 PM There, see? Concious, malevolent intent from wind. RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - Flipkat - 12-22-2006 09:00 PM It's not the wind that moves, it's the air. You can have perpetual wind in some places. RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - *NightWind* - 12-23-2006 10:59 AM It wasn't the wind that destroyed the roofs - it was the trees - they were gravity's accomplice (uh, yeah).  The wind on the other hand, just makes kids kites fly gracefully.  Though I don't know if it's just me, but being propelled through air turbines really messes me up... Um, is there a certain number of books to be printed?  How long will they be in print?  I want to get one soon, but then I have to go through a few obstacles first (read: ka-chings).  I just hope there's plenty of stock. And you know what'll be really cute and collectable?  ADV bookmarks!  Easy to produce, ship and collect! RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - Shadowhunter - 12-23-2006 05:33 PM Ooh, I'd so go for some bookmarks. Especially if they're Argent-themed. RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - shaventalz - 12-23-2006 09:14 PM You mean, like with tombstones and stuff? RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - Chris B - 12-23-2006 09:35 PM Oh snap! Bookmarks would be sweet! Although people asking who the characters are might get annoying... I already get enough flack with my Spybot shirt. RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - Shadowhunter - 12-23-2006 10:08 PM Your....Spybot shirt? RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance - BOOK COMING SOON - Chris B - 12-23-2006 10:29 PM Yes, my Spybot shirt. RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance  - BOOK COMING SOON - Shadowhunter - 12-23-2006 11:11 PM ......waaait. You have one? And that page appears to suggest that they're still buyable.....*grins* RE: ADVENTURERS!: Level 1: World of Imbalance - BOOK COMING SOON - Darg - 12-24-2006 01:39 AM *NightWind* Wrote:It wasn't the wind that destroyed the roofs - it was the trees - they were gravity's accomplice (uh, yeah).Noo, that's just the kind of anti-gravity propaganda that's really hurting inter-elemental relations. I've seen wind rip roofs off houses when there were no trees around. Okay, so those instances were during hurricanes and tornadoes, but still, no trees were involved. There've been wind storms around my house that has torn pieces of the roof of the trailer in my backyard off. But...I digress. Back to the topic at hand... T-shirts?! *drooooool.....* |
