Maybe it's all a set up or test of some sort - you know, to separate the useful recruits from the non-useful. Other than that, my minds' everywhere trying to figure out what's going to happen next. Neat plot...

Life/reading comics has taught me that nothing is at it seems.
Shadehawk doesn't seem to be the one to kill off his targets just like that.

Didn't you see the flashy colourful special effects on that bullet? You don't die from those things, unless all you can see of the recipient is a silhouette (usually dematerialising).

And he's right for doing so...my bad for not thinking of it from the start.
And yes, I thought the shooter might be Shadehawk too, but realized that'd be too obvious, especially this early in the phase.
Then again, it is an Interlude Phase; anything's possible, I suppose.
