Am I the only one who was reminded of the old movie "The Warriors" by the whole strips? The guy in the vest and ponytail looks just like one of the Warriors from the movie. Maybe it's just me though.

These are minions. He spoke in an authoritative voice, giving them a villainous order. They'll probably obey him before they even realize what they're doing. Assuming they ever DO realize what they're doing. The minion mindset is to find a boss and obey him.

The smart ones will realize that refusing to help stop someone who tried to murder Union will not make him trust them much, so even if they aren't technically under his command yet, disobeying will hurt their chances of getting a nonsuicidal job later.

The less smart ones are too stupid to realize they're not under Union's command yet.

So the question is, did Union become smart BECAUSE he stopped being a minion, or is he actually still stupid with his idiotic minion mistake being thinking that forming a minion-based organization could ever be a good idea?

Or is Dr. Nefarious just so moronic that SOMEONE had to get the brains in his organization, even if it's a minion?

All the current arc inspires in me is more of a desire to see Shadehawk's closet. What are we on, coat number 8? It's starting to feel like a subtle parody of all the Batman outfits shoehorned in for merchandising purposes.
