The nothing ever needs more valley girls. Ever.

Imagine a million girls, all of them talking like that. All the time. Every single day. And all they do is talk. But, they never say a damn thing.

That's corporate lingo.

*NightWind* Wrote:Well what? We always had a shortage.

There's a reason for that; the average valley girl's IQ isn't high enough to handle us.
No, seriously, there's a sign on the sign-up page that says, "You're IQ must be this tall to enter". It's right next to the "Please check your sanity at the door" sign.

In that case, I'm talking about valley girls of the Totally Spies category. Smart, witty, athletic and pretty. We need more, we have more.

*NightWind* Wrote:"Likee, you know, spelling it 'like' is likee soooo totally last century."

Note the order of words. That's how it's supposed to go.
Oh, okay. I was treating "likee totally" as one phrase.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 1: Pawns and Knights - *NightWind* - 03-15-2008 02:29 AM

That should be used when you agree, but not mid-sentence.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 1: Pawns and Knights - Loyle - 03-15-2008 09:30 AM

Why is there a lesson for how to properly use bad grammar? I'm all for irony but there is a such thing as going too far.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 1: Pawns and Knights - Milo - 03-15-2008 12:51 PM

Well, I do get annoyed when people misquote "SOMEBODY SET UP US THE BOMB". Some people apparantly suffer from the delusion that it's "SOMEONE SET US UP THE BOMB". Inconceivable!

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 1: Pawns and Knights - Loyle - 03-15-2008 01:58 PM

Well, memes are a completely different thing. If something is going to be overused, it better damn well be overused correctly.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 1: Pawns and Knights - Milo - 03-15-2008 02:01 PM

So, like, you're suggesting that we need to, like, overuse valley girl speak more before we can be, like, justified in nitpicking the details? Like, okay.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 1: Pawns and Knights - Loyle - 03-15-2008 02:08 PM

That is, like, one way to, like, abuse logic. Because, like, you know? Abusing logic is, like, really fun.

Yarr, that it like totally be, mateys, that it totally be.
What? I be like having a totally Southern Valley Girl accent, g-arrl-friend.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 1: Pawns and Knights - Milo - 03-15-2008 08:28 PM

* Milo tries to figure out how one can have a valley in the ocean. Umm... like?

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 1: Pawns and Knights - *NightWind* - 03-15-2008 08:35 PM

Valleys in the ocean do exist.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 1: Pawns and Knights - Milo - 03-15-2008 09:06 PM

Those are valleys in the ocean floor, though, which is not the part that pirates ever deal with unless they've done something seriously wrong.

Except for Jonathan Jones.

What about Davey?
