More fun with colors!

* alphamai1300 really, really hopes Greenie is acting the way she is as an honest, innocent, tech security chief.

She's just loyal to the evil side. Hector's probably taught her a few things along the way too.

Looking at the two different Greenies, I would think that her more original, naive side might pop up every now and then. Might even make Hector laugh too.

This "plan purple" intrigues me.

Just like the long-dead Argent! Just, less experienced. And greener. I mean, the color green, not inexperienced green, since that would be redundant. Although...that works too.

Oh right. Friday. This whole "summer break" thing makes it hard to remember the days of the week.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Milo - 05-09-2008 12:01 PM

I keep track of the days of the week through the webcomics I read, not the other way around.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Darg - 05-09-2008 01:07 PM

I used to do that, too, Milo, but now I keep track of the days of the week based on how far they are from payday. For example, today is payday, which means it's Friday.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Milo - 05-09-2008 01:27 PM

I'll do that as soon as I go and get a job.

...Don't hold your breath.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Darg - 05-09-2008 05:13 PM

You should come work with me at Toys R Us! We have all kinds of fun, like... Well, there's...
...
Damn, you'd think working at the "Largest Toy Store In The World" would be more fun. Turns out, it's just like work, just with toys.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Aegof - 05-12-2008 12:46 AM

Kind of a lame trap.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Milo - 05-12-2008 09:41 AM

Well, Hector didn't have much time to set it up. It was a spur-of-the-moment thing.

And I'll hold Shadey to that promise.

You know, since recently thinking about BM32, and seeing comments about the last named Agent, I've thought that MANTIS must have ninja blood in them. Today's comic confirms that I reckon.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Milo - 05-12-2008 11:05 AM

The fact that they're weaker when there's lots of them around, you mean?

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - masamunemaniac - 05-12-2008 11:24 AM

That's exactly what I mean. Though I'm wondering whether Stormtroopers might be a closer comparison to MANTIS Agents than ninjas...

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Milo - 05-12-2008 11:37 AM

Have Stormtroopers EVER been competent, even when alone?

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - masamunemaniac - 05-12-2008 11:48 AM

My mistake - carry on Icon_razz

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Darg - 05-12-2008 01:16 PM

Baron Milo Wrote:Have Stormtroopers EVER been competent, even when alone?

Technically, yes, though I suppose they really weren't Stormtroopers back then; strictly speaking, they were "Clone Troopers". But still...kinda yeah.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - *NightWind* - 05-13-2008 09:49 AM

I wonder if Crossroad's clothes are bulletproof.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Milo - 05-13-2008 12:34 PM

* Milo removes said clothes to a lab for study.
