Um, how's she going to deflect all those bullets coming her way if she's naked?
...
Wait, naked chick?! *creepy staaaaaaaare*

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - *NightWind* - 05-14-2008 08:54 AM

She wears a bra and undies right? That means she's exposed, but not naked.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Milo - 05-14-2008 09:51 AM

Good enough.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - *NightWind* - 05-14-2008 10:09 AM

Better.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Darg - 05-14-2008 03:59 PM

Yes, better; lingerie is so much sexier than outright nudity.
*creepy staaaaaaare with drooooooooooling*

Interesting, MANTIS trains some mercs to speak in Olde English?

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Aegof - 05-16-2008 12:34 AM

Forsooth and all that, I guess.

I was not expecting this.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - sXeAndriex - 05-16-2008 04:35 AM

Yeah, that... caught me a bit off-guard.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - masamunemaniac - 05-16-2008 05:22 AM

What.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Purple Eye Beast II - 05-16-2008 07:33 AM

In the future Ren-Fair actors will carry a license to kill.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Boss^Boss - 05-16-2008 10:08 AM

Maybe Crimson Boomerang is finally moving up in the ranks of villainy?
Or maybe this is the guy he stole his way of speaking from. Which would be the first theft he even partially managed.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Milo - 05-16-2008 10:37 AM

Front Mission: Gun Hazard had a guy who speaks like that while piloting a giant robot. With an electro-mace.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Darg - 05-16-2008 10:56 AM

Suddenly, the "Kngihts" portion of "Pawns and Knights" makes so much more sense.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - InvaderD - 05-16-2008 12:20 PM

I also thought the crimson boomerang was the one saying that at first. I wonder if this is some kind of theme that hector supports? Like casual fridays maybe?

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - *NightWind* - 05-16-2008 06:02 PM

Yeah, come to think of it, it does sound quite a lot like Crimson (I wasn't able to pinpoint the exact character before).

I have to wonder if that is a modified beam sword that the knight is carrying. And if so, what happens if beam sword hits beam sword?

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - Kennisiou - 05-16-2008 06:14 PM

Okay, that knight guy, he better be released as a voucher card. Seriously. Also, while I'm making demands without any sort of authority at all, Golem too.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - *NightWind* - 05-16-2008 06:20 PM

I prefer the knight guy to Golem.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - masamunemaniac - 05-16-2008 06:31 PM

I'd rather see another Webcomic expansion than hundreds more vouchers all over the place.

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - *NightWind* - 05-16-2008 07:12 PM

Do you think that with the similar white-pink colours and Crossroad's 'softened' expression that these two know each other? Perhaps she recognises his voice?

RE: Phase 8: Manipulators; Chapter 2: King's Ransom - masamunemaniac - 05-16-2008 07:18 PM

I'm doubting it - he's a MANTIS Agent (you can tell by the logo), and MANTIS Agents are raised from birth to be MANTIS Agents.

MANTIS Agents.
