Angelson's examining a vase. I wonder if he's doing his research before posting in the balance thread?

I was about to say that I guess that's where the stolen crap is going to, but seeing as the villains are all still together, I'm guessing they haven't turned in their items yet. So maybe pottery is a hobby or something, like those Illuminati fantasy book club meetings.

Wizard's such a lucky guy. He doesn't need to level at all.

(Edit: I have Death Note imagery in my head now)

There needs to be more Unnatural History museums.

Plus Supernatural History Museums.

We have those. They're just not open to the public and have totally uncool names.

Like Ex Liberus
(Real shop all the way out 10 miles south of Nachanowhere!)

Wizard is just being the quintessential villan again. No regard for human life or property!

I'm sure he respects keeping humans as property.

RE: Phase 9: Research; Chapter 1: Wearing the Hat - Deathblack Rabbit - 09-17-2008 02:03 PM

Well, when worded that way, yes.

I kinda wish I knew what was going on.

RE: Phase 9: Research; Chapter 1: Wearing the Hat - Milo - 09-19-2008 11:18 AM

So? The conversation was amusing.

RE: Phase 9: Research; Chapter 1: Wearing the Hat - Aegof - 09-22-2008 12:08 AM

Wizard of Earth, you have the power to instill great fear.

RE: Phase 9: Research; Chapter 1: Wearing the Hat - sXeAndriex - 09-22-2008 12:11 AM

Oh, that was bad. That was so bad.

RE: Phase 9: Research; Chapter 1: Wearing the Hat - Aegof - 09-22-2008 12:16 AM

Shut up. I'm tired and it's hard to come up with good superhero comic jokes after watching Avatar for five hours.

RE: Phase 9: Research; Chapter 1: Wearing the Hat - *NightWind* - 09-22-2008 10:29 AM

That's interesting - with those agents blocking the (seemingly) only exit in the room, and knowing what Wizard is capable of, why wouldn't Angelson get himself out of there before Wizard starts turning everyone into mush? Because right now, Angelson is in Dead Zone 1.

Unless of course the "artifact" that Angelson gave Wizard is in fact some sort of cursed device or inhibitor and this is a test on Wizard's abilities.

RE: Phase 9: Research; Chapter 1: Wearing the Hat - masamunemaniac - 09-22-2008 10:48 AM

Wizard has incredible precision with his telekinetic powers - he could quite easily kill all of the MANTIS agents without touching Angelson (and without getting a speck of blood on himself, you may notice).

And he doesn't kill people for no reason (not to say that he needs a good reason to kill someone).

RE: Phase 9: Research; Chapter 1: Wearing the Hat - Deathblack Rabbit - 09-22-2008 06:59 PM

Indeed, there's a difference between a good reason and just a reason. He's a practical killer. At the time, Angelson is no longer of consequence and bares no significance. Killing him would be a waste of time at this point, and besides, he could be useful.

An inhibitor would be an interesting twist. Especially now. That could take his pride down a few notches.

There's also a pretty big difference between a just reason and just a reason. Icon_wink

If it's an inhibitor, he could, like, let go. Assuming he lacks common nonsense.

If I was to design an inhibitor, I would do so in such a way that when the user comes in contact with it, it would release an physically undetectable static discharge that would travel down the nerves, up the spinal cord and into the brain. There, it would target and disable the main divisions which Wizard relies on for telekinetics, thus rendering him powerless. As fallback, I would put him into a state of tempoary paralysis from the neck down. You know, in case he tries to claw my eyes out.

Coat the vase in a cocktail of the world's seventeen deadliest poisons, cover the surface in tons of imperceptible pricks to pierce the skin, and for good measure, have a thin layer of explosive in the middle to remote explode it, with the hope that at least one of those poison-laced shards scratch him.

Or just leave him until your sortof secret plans to defeat him are properly ready.

101 ways to deal with Wizard.
