OOh! I learnt something new today. ^^

Could come in handy if the world suddenly turns all movie-like.

Where do you guys learn all these things?

The only thing I used to know was that if you shoot someone in the head, they might not be able to move but will still be alive for 2-3 mins.

Also, people don't really "die" from bleeding, but the body, upon seeing the loss of blood, actually stops the blood flow in order to save blood, thereby killing the brain and all it's functions.

But I have yet to know why someone always dies if they get shot in the stomach. Related to the above perhaps?

Edit2:
Now I feel pity for the Doc... Icon_sad

Edit3:
But hey, with modern medicine in the future he should be fine right?

Hey, now I've learned something too.

In an effort to continue the knowledge sharing, the inside of the thigh contains the femoral artery which, if sliced open, will lead to enough blood loss that the person will pretty much certainly die before any medical help can arrive unless pressure or a tourniquet is applied immediately

How do I know these things? Knife fighting, of course.

Do you get together with all the other priests and have knife fights for fun?

RE: interlude phase: iron fists - sXeAndriex - 04-06-2009 05:36 PM

Why do you think Aldgar's never around these days?

Can I photocopy your brain?

Shadehawk once against reminds others that he's a superhero vigilante.

P.S. Also transcribed on OhNoRobot.com. Feel free to help with the archives.

Loot-Move-2061?

RE: interlude phase: iron fists - Haplo_64 - 04-10-2009 03:27 AM

Is it just me, or does Shadey look a little less good?

RE: interlude phase: iron fists - *NightWind* - 04-10-2009 04:50 AM

Nice twist.

I believe he once told Crossroad that there is a difference between being greedy and wanting to eat... and also (on a separate occasion) that he does what he does because he has to, not because he wants to

So this seems pretty consistent with his previous behavior to me.

I mean in the drawing compartment, not the morals Icon_razz

Not sure exactly what you mean by "less good", but this page does seem a bit sloppier than recent pages. Given that it seems to be the last (or darn near last) page of the Interlude, it could be explained that Webby drew this one a bit faster in order to move on to the next Phase. Or, he wasn't feeling well when he drew it.
If you meant that Shadey looks more "villainous" than "good", nah. If anything he looks more heroic than before, though that might be pride at being recognized as a fighter for justice instead of a reckless vigilante.

It doesn't have any mecha action, and it doesn't have any fancy background/borders, but aside from that it doesn't seem drawn any worse to me.

RE: interlude phase: iron fists - sXeAndriex - 04-12-2009 11:21 PM

Huh... well, this is interesting. My money is on it being Union.

RE: interlude phase: iron fists - *NightWind* - 04-12-2009 11:34 PM

I like how Shadehawk looks smug.

RE: interlude phase: iron fists - masamunemaniac - 04-12-2009 11:36 PM

Oh right, new comic. Silly caching.

My money is on it being Argent returned to life by Canadian technology gone awry.

RE: interlude phase: iron fists - Loyle - 04-12-2009 11:39 PM

Argent's ghost or a fanboy gone nuts...

RE: interlude phase: iron fists - *NightWind* - 04-13-2009 12:17 AM

Yay! Go Argent!

RE: interlude phase: iron fists - Loyle - 04-13-2009 01:43 AM

On second inspection, I'd say Union is a safe bet...

RE: interlude phase: iron fists - *NightWind* - 04-13-2009 01:45 AM

Who was Union again?
