Has Echo changed his hair colour? I'm sure it used to be a lot more blue, save for the bit where I'm not actually at all sure due to being colourblind and forgetful.

Well it's nice that all the obvious questions are being answered for us (Why hasn't Crossroad just gone to see Wrench? Why doesn't Echo just ask Wrench?). I guess we'll need to wait and see why Shadehawk went to visit Echo before anyone else.
Seems a bit odd for Echo to even mention the idea that he'd visit him before Crossroad or Wrench. How'd that crop up in the conversation? Unless we missed the bit where Crossroad said "And the strangest bit about Shadehawk watching me, was that he was standing right on your roof!".

Apparently simply having someone step up to be Shadehawk is what matters; ruining Shadehawk's name with embarrassing ineptitude isn't so important.
If she keeps this up, she may well have got Crimson Boomerang to don the costume.
