In my post I essentially quoted verbatum some of the reasons he listed for quitting. And while his wife was certaintly one of them, he also mentioned how much he abhorred the community as another.

he had like 4 cases of copyright infringment from this one guy. the guy couldn\'t even make a sprite comic so he had to steal someone elses. thats sounds like a bad community.
