 The Slashes
I removed some of them but the auto-removing thing sort of failed. If you want to remove them manually just edit the post and it will be fixed when the post is edited, but dont bother doing it to old posts.

On the serious end, I think it's because of improper escaping of text in either the old or the new version.

it's a bug in the conversion code. It's not something I can easily fix unfortunately.
