Uh...oops, that didn't quite go the way I imagined it.

I can confidently say, no, that's definitely not it. Definitely not.

Just noticed it's the epilogue and Gildward is still single. And we still don't really know the true intentions of Spybot.

Um, nope it was just a coincedence (a bad one?) ^^.  If I seperated the lines, it'll look as if I'm trying to hog space.

May I just say...

Ardam with a beard (panel 3) reminded me of that Star Trek episode where all the good guys get switched into the "bad guys" mirror universe... and the evil Mr. Spock has a beard somewhat like that.

Evil Ardam makes me sad.

"He got better" makes me happy (Monty Python quotes = yay)!

Also: Blue hair turns purple with age?? I guess Ardam isn't vain enough to use 'Hero Hair' color treatment.

I shall now go back to my "ADV!-is-ending" mope.

He's a mage, everyanything is possible.

Maybe a side-effect of being turned into a wattermelon?

It turned purple as he got older? Damn colourblindness, I thought it just went a lighter shade of blue.

Wait, you're colorblind?

Does that mean your avatar is a green fox-girl to you?

Also, the "No crystallium orbs" thing was great. Icon_biggrin

It seems I'm in the minority on the beard thing. I thought the third panel made him look rather dashing. Of course, I have a goatee myself, so I may be a bit biased.

Oh, you mean "Mirror, Mirror" where they went to the Mirror Universe. TO be fair, though, "Evil" Spock really wasn't evil in his heart, he was just trying to operate within the oppressive system of oppression. Clean-shaven spock convinced "evil" Spock to turn good at the end and reform the Terran Empire, but that eventually led to the demise and enslavement of the EMpire by the Cardassian-Klingon Alliance, who were overthrown later by the Terran Rebels when they came over to our side again to steal the schematics for the Defiant from Deep Space Nine, which forced our Sisko to help them.
...
Okay, this is why you don't make Star Trek references around me, especially vague ones.
But yeah, that goatee = totally Mirror Spock.

I think it's just a case of his hair color growing lighter as he ages, in the same way that black hair might turn grey. (Gray?)
