Adventurers! Games

Okay, I know about ADV!RPG, and I'm pretty sure there's another game on here somewhere, but I'm wondering just how many other people are making ADV! games. So, is anyone else making one? I know I'm considering doing one, but I'd need, at the VERY least, a dedicated RMXP spriter...

So, anyways, anything besides ADV!RPG and the other one (where they go to a... oh... duh. Adventurers: Colosseum. I must play that again sometime when it's a bit more updated...)

Why not just help shaventalz with the ADV RPG, instead of starting work on one of your own? There's always a demand for more help.

Good luck finding a spriter. That's the major problem our project had.

One thing you might want to keep in mind, though. How long are you planning to spend on the project? The comic's been going for quite a while; will you do it all, or focus on one sidequest?

Thanks for the good luck... I'll need it. As for how long I'm willing to spend on it? Probably quite some time. If I do make a game, I'm going to at least try to do it all... Certainly at least from an actual game beginning to the first battle with Khrima, where Ardam is kidnapped.

You take a shot whenever Ardam says something sarcastic.

That's like saying "take a shot whenever Gildward is useless." There's only, like, two strips where he ISN'T.

There's a lot of strips where Gildward isn't useless.

They're the ones where Gildward doesn't show up at all.

The strips w/ Gildward where he a) attempts to do something AND b) is actually useful are as follows:

When he first played the Melody
When he lit up the cave for Chookie and him
When he killed Whizrorb.

Gildward isn't very useful, though I like to be nice and pretend that's because Karn didn't take the time to level him up and discover his true powers. In short, Gildward's like a Magikarp, except his I-form was hardly as impressive as Gyarados.

So, yeah, Gildwards useless. Even Chookie leveled up to good stats, as his epilogue indicates.
