RE: Bugs Thread
Keeping the 20 life from the Exo-Suit sounds perfectly reasonable to me - unlike with attack you can't have a 'constant modifier' for life, so it simply gains it when it becomes attached.
I'm not sure about keeping the robot type... a wording difference between 'gains' and 'has' could be important here, or it could be completely arbitrary (and contradicted in other cards).
Besides, there's no real scope for broken-ness here for statgain - Equips, EXPs and the like are probably worth about the same, if not more. It could be problematic if he gaine the constant ablities such as Ability Immune, Spell Immune, etc etc.

And is Smeghead just using cards he done art for or is that a coincidence ;P

Salvager works now.

Solar flare does do 20 damage if the allying condition is met, but still does not cause a discard, random or otherwise.

RE: Bugs Thread
Can someone update the wiki by marking the cards that have been fixed with just "works ~~~~" so I can actually find which ones really are still broken?

Mods still don't show in the ? deck. Only if they were in your hand or grave.
E.x.: Cor plays Shadowheart on 2 monsters, never comes up on my ? deck.
I play Plasma Pack, doesn't show up on Cor's ? deck.
Cor plays Stasis Field on me, doesn't show up in my ? deck.

Nuclear Power Plant triggers and destroys all monsters controller owns (a.k.a works).

Scavange still doesn't work on 1 card graveyards; it resolves but the card isn't taken.

masa: You call the discard deck the "graveyard", if that helps in giving it a name.

RE: Bugs Thread
I think we should call it the reference tab, but my ideas usually are in need of optimization. Or something.

I think you must have been using an out of date client, it was a client side fix.

Well you do one of those "if this is like this, than that is like that" sort of things:
Discard is to grave, as ? is to ______.

I don't know, aside from calling it the reference tab, you could call it the Library sense it's in essence the keeper of all cards that have been played.

RE: Bugs Thread
But then Switcheroo wouldn't make sense, since that refers to the deck as the library.

RE: Bugs Thread
I think we established in the typo thread that the reference to the library was erroneous - it should be 'decks' instead of 'libraries'.

I wouldn't say it was "established"... but whatever, Info Tab it is.

RE: Bugs Thread
Maybe I meant the started/founded kind of 'establihed' rather than proven/grounded type of 'established'?

I usually called it the Info Tab myself anyway, and I think most people (that give it a name) do too. So it seems a good choice...

RE: Bugs Thread
1) This might sound like a stupid question, but does Hull Plating decrease life increases by 25%?

2) And does Rust Dragon use a status effect symbol?

3) And does Sheena use those tokens (like Mechazor L does) to show transformed life remaining? If not, could it?

4) And could Poison show in the same way as those counters, so we know how many turns there are remaining on each monster?

___
If nobody answers by the time I'm at the house I'll be able to test these myself later. As if it was my reminder pad...

RE: Bugs Thread
1: Better question: does it decrease direct damage by spells and abilities or only by monster attacks?
Aside from that, unless the coding treats life increases and decreases the same way, they should be seperate (though you'd know better than me).

2: No; might be nice to have it like WotW Khrima has his own symbol.

3: I'm pretty sure you asked web about this in IRC and he said no, the other Sheena form is just kept saved as a seperate monster and brought back out at her last values when transformed (which I believe results in an attack bug where if her attack is less than 65, it will return to that value upon transforming in and out again. Same with Fanny; who also heals to full for 1 of its modes after transforming back to it again).

4: Not a bad idea. It'd have to be different symbols as it'd become confussing with a poisoned Singularity Cannon. I'd imagine though that just making the poison symbol the actual counter wouldn't be that difficult.
As a side note on those same lines, a pumped up Singularity Cannon will shove symbols off the card's image (it doesn't move down to the next line, just continues off the card) so if there's a way to give order to them, making the singularity counters always the most right would probably be a good idea.

RE: Bugs Thread
1) I assumed that people had tested it in all of those damage scenarios already. I guess I'll give that a shot while I'm testing lifegain.
And they both use the same code: LIFEP

2) Yes, it would be nice, wouldn't it? Would you believe that I was in fact going to go so far as to suggest that a symbol be made if there wasn't one already? Icon_biggrin

3) I did ask webrunner, but things change. afaik, if her life was stored in the counter variable instead of the sheena variable, as per Singularity/Big L, then she'd use the same visible counters as they do, except for storing her life. And I'm fairly sure that those counters do nothing except store the satatus effect value for interaction via the abilities.csc (ie no other effects like poison or burn has).
Actually I was about to suggest that she may die on transformation if played via Life etc, but from looking at the code she has a unique INTOP trigger, which presumably sets the Maid form's life even if played via alternate means. Interesting, if you care for subtleties...
And the thing with Fanny and Sheena is that they use a different transformation code (MORPH and MRPHS) for different interactivity with current base stats.

4) Yes, I was meaning to just use multiples of the existing poison symbol. Presumably it'd just be a small alteration to the status code - an alteration that could be copied from the existing 'counter' status onto the 'poison' status.
I'm near certain that the status symbols are in a predefined order, it's just a case of whether it's arbitrary or planned.

Editus Maximus: Sheena and Rust Dragon now use the same counters as Mechazor L and Singularity Gun! Also, the counters now have 'x5 supercounters'! Poison now shows individual counters according to turns remaining, and also has a 'x5 supercounter'. Huzzah!

And alphamai1300 [Image: abilitypointer.gif] Anthony Mai in the artistlist.txt wants done if it hasn't alrady been done.

RE: Bugs Thread
The megacounter for poison didn't show for Noxious Ring (it shown 5 individual poison counters - still a big improvement). Didn't test the others (Dev site dla/downtime). But once it's working that's all of our points 2, 3 and 4 sorted nicely.

Also, 1) Hull Plating does not reduce the effectiveness of Gift of Life (so it won't advrsely affect other lifegainers). Not tested with different types of damage, but assuming that others have.

Edit: Megacounters and megapoisons both work perfectly.
