Hey, a lot of the catgirls I've posted in the Caturday thread are wearing plenty of clothing, and in non-sexual positions.

Yeah, as Milo said, Kita's got more of the ninja element in her than the cat/catgirl element. She's more gutsy and less whiny (thus deadly) than the conventional catgirl, thus why she's a villain. And she's not scantily clad, as that would make her missions harder to complete because she has to avoid places such as roof and stairs. She's got leggings in the anime. Though for the RP I removed her wand and replaced it with a katana. I also added black kitty ears and a tail. She doesn't wear a top hat in the RP, because it just looks wierd, though I might use it as her inventory bag.

And to get back on topic, wasn't there someting about a Webrunner creating new comic that has an ADV theme in the future?

No, as I understood it, people were begging for Webby's next comic to have and ADV theme/flavor, and he said it wouldn't at all.

Milo, at least she has some sort of basic picture. I mean, she could be like Myriad/Skye/Sheel, and be left largely to imagination. Granted, it's not actually Kita, but...it's a start for mental imagery.

There was one in a SNES game called Legend of the Mystical Ninja (Japanese name: Ganbare Goemon, possibly with a number attached... it's been a while). I didn't like it too much, but this apparantly places me in the minority, so you should try it. This was his theme song.

Why does that make me think of Shrek 2's Puss in Boots? Only, with katanas, shurikens and black pajamas...

Cat-ninjas would probably find it hard to attack people with martial arts moves because in the end, they'll only be hit by little kitty paws. But then they could always swipe at the heroes' legs/feet, causing them to double over in pain and then use the heroes' face as a scratching post. That or they could just leap at the heroes' neck and sink their teeth in, causing the heroes' death from too much blood loss.

If I could draw fanart, I would draw a mermaid and some ADV-guy winking with no top on, arms crossed. Oh and skimpy skirts in the background.

No, I'd never declaw kitties because it is inhumane as chopping off a person's hand - the kitties won't be able to defend themselves or scale fences to escape danger. But then kitty claws are considerably weaker than say, katanas. Heck if anything I said worked, Sera should either have fallen into the portal opening up right beneath her or should have fainted because of Kita's fangs sinking into her throat. If the primary hunting method of a predatory cat doesn't work, what can little paws do? And I never thought Sera could escape the battle where the rules were agreed on OOC'ly. If Kita wins, Sera would come with her. If Sera wins, Kita would just chase her down again. But nope, Sera just escaped. Talk about contrivance...

Smaller and therefore less damaging, yes. Weaker, when used by a sentient cat with advanced martial arts training? Not so sure.

Though, I initially understood Kita's catgirl form as being stronger in combat while her cat form is better at stealth - though, judging from the PMed info, this seems to not be the case.

You can't escape from boss battles unless it's a plot point (like Bahamut in FF3). The problem is that in an RP format, which battles are scripted and which aren't is generally decided on after the fact.

Her catgirl form is more suitable to planning, whilst her house-cat form is more for hunting and fitting through air ducts, but when Kita's up against a band of heroes, her catgirl form is more suitable for that. But then I'm still testing most of this out - thus why Kita keeps on changing between the two forms throughout the RP.

And um, to somehow put this lil' page back on topic (please excuse the derailment), has anyone thought of if Shadehawk and Wrench are playing the game at the end, then we might see the occasional glimpse of ADV when they've decided to play the game again? That'll be cool.

Of course. But we'll see where the plot takes us. In any case, she's already had several assignments and has been one of the more active characters since her introduction, so she's not exactly number one on the priority list of people to work with more.
