Where's the CMC Login Name? Aside from name and avatar it was the only properly useful thing on there.

I didn't get to see the HP bars, though I'd have to admit that the sidebar does look a lot cleaner without the cosplay text.

Yeah, the "Status" should be kept whilst the stars can be removed (same goes for Group and Joined - but that's a default).

Thanks to E-mouse for pointing out the question marks in my sig - I was wondering if it was only me.  I'll see if I can reuse an older version of the keyblade.  Maybe it's because we're using ANSI or something like that?

Text does look a bit different, somewhat giving the forum a fresh look.  Things are more spaced out.  It's like one of those 'you'll get used to it things' I guess.  After 1 week, we won't notice the difference. :)

I haven't tried multi-quote yet - probably later tonight.

Strange  - some of the sidebars in the RP forum seems stretched out even though there's no pictures which seemed to cause it.

Oh and there seems to be a small bug with the cookies, I got logged out for some reason. I'll take note of it if I see it again. The question marks seems to only effect my old posts - strange but funny. Smilies are still the same.

I tried removing the question marks and replacing them with spaces, but it gave me this message:

My whole sig only uses 692 characters.  If I remove the links, it still says I'm over the limit.  I'll see if I can use an old version of the keyblade....The older version of the keyblade worked, but with the disadvantages of dots.  Tried copy and pasting new version of keyblade - got same error message - going to stick with old keyblade.

And strangely, I don't need to use the escape character '/'.

I couldn't see the field where it says how many characters I got left.  Small thing, but it's just for the record.

Oh, we get attachment counts next to the thread names now. Nice information to know, but probably not all that helpful.

Does anyone remember what the old font was? I want to put it back (because this font doesnt seem to be as properly unicode-ready)

Hey wow, I figured for sure MyBB was doing something retarded but looks like this one is firefox's fault. Everything looks fine for me using dillo/wget but I load it up in firefox and the non-breaking spaces in E-mouse's signature get rendered as question marks.

.. Interesting one, I can't see where it's going wrong. MyBB claims to be sending UTF-8 and as far as I can tell it is (the 0xA0s appearing in E-mouse's sig are still non breaking spaces in unicode), but they just don't render properly unless I set the encoding to CP1252 or ISO-8859-1. But when I do that Caswin's/Nightwind's non-breaking spaces break (how's that for false advertising).

Bah, I can't find anything wrong on the webserver end so I'm going to have to stick with firefox/gecko as the culprit, despite not really being convinced.

I recall a similar problem before, the effects of which can still be seen.

I noticed just now that the 'émo' in 'Pokémon' got changed to the chinese character 魯. Which babelfish says is 'Lu'. However, further és render correctly (as this post is evidence of). So it could just be that the switch killed off a lot of old special characters, but when rewritten or posted anew might function correctly.

I may or may not know what I'm talking about. And I can tell you that it's the former.

Also, I have no idea how to check the Internet Archive pages or Google cached pages to find out the font. I think it's in a css, which I know nothing about (it's not in "<font"> tags in the page source). The thing about me not knowing what I'm talking about applies equally to this.

Did links used to italicize as well? I'm looking at the link on this thread and it doesn't scream out to me how it used to.

Yeah, it's all in the css - I checked some of the old files I saved from last month - nothing there.  I can still post up a html file from last month if you guys want.

Links were in bold but not italicised.  I'll post a screenshot if I can.

Grab firefox's web developer extension for playing with css stuff, /far/ simpler than tracking all the bastards down manually (not to mention you can edit it on the fly).

As for stuff like cmc login name, I did ask for people to make a list of things that were missing so I could add them in one go.

Also, I must've got caught up in a bad edit or something, as an F5 of this very page killed off all my IE windows.

Edit: Does Hover Here just return me to the top of the page (like a time consuming version of pressing the 'Home' button on my keyboard)? Whatever it does, I don't think that everything down to the joined line wants to share a link with it.

Edit 2: Actually, there's no real point in commenting at all on this, seeing as it changes with every edit/reply. Presumably webrunner's picking up the errors as he goes along, but he may not notice the CMC Name/Fave Card thing for a while as he has 'webrunner' set for both of them. Or maybe I'm talking rubbish.

From the sounds of it, all the messing about is webrunner trying to get it to work in IE :P

Nothing happens when I hover over the text.  The stars are gone, but I'm not sure from when.  Like the feature though - saves space ^^.

The cookies seem to have some sort of bug.  I have 2 windows open, both not logged in.  One of them is on the forum index, the other is on a forum thread.  I login on the index window and it works.  I refresh the second window as to get to the 'quick-reply' to show, but it doesn't show - it still says I'm logged out.  Previously, the second window should show that I am now logged in.

Oh and if I close all my Explorer windows, I get logged out.  Nice feature as I'm sometimes in a rush.

Oh, see I wasn't hovering over it because hovering over it didn't really do anything. Just every second time I open a page the status/stars/group/join info's there, half the time it isn't, completely irrespective of the 'hover here' part.

Yeah - the stars and online status are now gone for every page I go to.

Search function seems quicker than before, though it doesn't allow more than 1 search per min:

Well, searches would be pretty resource-consuming, I'd imagine.

Hover Here and everything below it is no longer bolded as per links. Which is good. Still nothing special - no floaty boses appearing on mouseover (all there by default).

CMC Name is now correct though.
