Inventory Shop for 1.2.x arrives!

Yes, it's back, whether that's good or bad is up to you.

- I can easily add new items/weapons, and even full shops (I added a spellbook shop)
- you can't fool it into getting it free or items that don't exist any more
- The shop itself is in the User Control panel. The items display in the hover (and don't display if you have no item in the slot!)

Well it looks neat and all. But is there anyway we can convince you to add something like a funny hat shop or funny clothes shop? (or dresses for the few girls here?)

I could include funny hats in the helmet section. And I can have a 'clothes' shop, no problem there.

This should be interesting. I'd still like to see an option for custom items somewhere, but for now this'll do.

it's easier for me to add the items you want me to (he's got an admin panel for it now)

EDIT: Apparently they do, I went from 150 to 159 Gollars.

I missed out on some of these forum changes, what's the deal with the lvl/hp/mp/exp? and how do they change?

Now to see if it's linear...

you get 9 for posting a new post anywhere but spam, 50 for a new thread in anywhere but spam. 300 for registering. 150 for everyone who already is registered. The other two settings are for the currency symbol (! for adv!) and name (Gollars, unless someone can come up with something better and original)

As for deleting I don't know. If it is i'll post in the thread on mybb about it to see if something can be done for the feature.

I think it's not fair we don't get cash for all our posts before the mod was added.

And the selection is still just as lame as before, up to and including the crystal armor made of silver.

We also appear to have two headwear shops that sell the exact same inventory.

EDIT: Oh, and it doesn't seem to display your money in the shop lists, so you have to go back to another page to look.

And I agree that Webby's additions are far superior to the default equipment.

I'm up for additional suggestions for equipment, or new stores/types of equipment. The example new shop in the documentation is 'summon' - maybe I could add the ADV ones.
I just removed the helmet shop (so it's just headwear r we) and fixed crystal armour to be made of actual crystal.

For starters, here is a list of weapon kinds that are not swords, staffs, spears, or gloves.

Daggers (and knives, dirks, etc.)
Specific kinds of swords (katana, scimitar, saber, rapier)
Other polearms (glaives, tridents, and I hear halberds were very effective... do scythes fall in this category?)
Axes
Hammers (I want a sledgehammer...)
Maces
Clubs
Flails
Whips
Sai
Bow and arrow
Crossbow
Guns
Boomerang
Shuriken
Darts
Claws (as opposed to punching gloves)
Bardic instruments
Pointy sticks and heavy rocks (much more fun as cheapo weapons than short swords)

Obviously, this is a rather long list, so you can make the equipment shop manageable by removing much of the tedious patterned stuff.

Added a few of those.

Also, I properly earned a near identical amount of points. But we're all starting again, and there should be no exceptions. Mainly because it'd take time and effort away from non-trivial-to-the-point-of-stupidity things.

And cheating for one item is the same as cheating for all of them, so you're no better than the rest of us.
