First, a whole ton of these cards don't provide any angel synergy, so they completely miss the point. And second, why does everyone insist on writing a full expansion set worth of cards? >_>

I originally intended this to be a monster that if it took damage, your angels gained stats and your opponant gained the card, but I wanted to do a card like this more(since there's no anti-angel cards yet.) It could also be used to damage it when you play it, then damage it again to keep it growing. But the 10 life makes it fragile so be careful.

1 Cor. actually stands for 1st Corinthians, a book of the Christian bible.

I know what Cor stands for. I was more getting at how it was odd that a (fantasy) CMC card had an explicit Christian bible reference.

Ah, I guess that is a little odd...

Yeah, it seemed kinda off to me for CMC when I made it, but the verse fit pretty well, so I gave it a pass because it's a fantasy card.

Should be . Normally there is no motivation to use it during opponent's turn.

this way it wouldn't be able to feed an AN-52 during the same stack, which could be important some times.

Wow, and I missed the first part and thought he was talking about how my post includes the three main archangels, lol.

It could be entirely coincidental that there are angels in CMC universe with the same names as those we know of. Heck, they could be really common names for angels or something, like John or Peter.

Well, I *could* keep going on about how I called them archangels (by the way, whoever said Rafael was an archangel... even Archangel Dominic is really labelled as an Angel), and about how I don't think too many angels are called Lucifer, but whatever, it's not that big of a deal.

According to some, Lucifer was a fallen angel (I'm not well-versed on the Bible's contents so I refer to movies instead).

Lucifer comes from the usage of the Hebrew word helel, which was actually a title of an ancient Babylonian... king? I think it was a king. Some ruler. Anyway, the concept of Lucifer is an invention dating back to the biblical interpretations caused by the division of the Christian faith after the fall of Rome and it's later unification into the Roman Catholic Church. According to most readings (though I think there's a major division with the esoteric Kabbalah practices), Lucifer was an archangel who fell (for various reasons depending on the denomination) from grace. Lucifer, the name and concept, is definitely a Christian idea though.

Oh,and since Rafael came up, that was the third archangel to gain prominence in Christian history. He's from the Book of Tobit and generally represents Joy and miracles. But don't all angels? I'm pretty sure he popped up in the writing of Ezekiel, as most of the angels did. For example, Chayot from Noodle's post hails from there.

So these three angels are characters in a roleplay I'm hoping to run eventually. They may also appear in stories, since I like the setting and they make good villians / side characters.

Essentially, they're three very strong female angels who have their own army. The bonuses they give to angels in general come from the morale the troops have knowing that they have powerful fighters like this in their midst (or, in Truensil's specific case, cover fire). As is to be expected from a team like this, though, they also give synergies to each other. The cards themselves are pretty expensive, and I tried to make them powerful enough that they'll be used on their own so that you don't have to go columns or use some crazy mass lmana gaining combo to get them out quickly. I'm not too sure about giving them the sister type... It's flavorful, because they call themselves the "three angel sisters," but at the same time it may see them used more often in sister decks than in angel decks, which shouldn't be the goal of the cards in this competition. I eventually decided that they deserve sister just as much as the AFH sisters do. Finally, where it mentions Angel Sisters in the ability text, it doesn't mean the monster types angel and sister but the specific other cards.

The first one (Truensil) is an archer who looks like a bird-person. She has a powerfully enchanted bow and tends to imbue magical effects onto her arrows before firing them. The second one (Kurai) is a four-armed angel who uses magic to create sickles. Imagine magical lightsaber sickles. That's basically what it is. The third one (Pepiya), is a powerful martial artist who is incredibly fast and strong, and her passive magical abilities mean that she only gets stronger and faster as the battle progresses. Anyways, here they are.
