Hmmm. Pay 10 mana to give a creature 50% TOD (and ruin any abilities it may have) vs. just playing Killbot for 7 mana (or 12 mana for venomic dragon). I'd say that card is far too expensive.

As for Redemption, there isn't much I can think of that is comparable. Holy Wordbringer is somewhat similar, though it offers only half as much lifegain if not accompanied by card draw. Still, it does seem overpriced.

Well, Corruption could be a decent way to dispose of Archangel Dominic after he's performed his duties. Somewhat useable with I-Angel, but only barely. Still seems overpriced.

I can't really think of any use at all for Redemption though. The demons are either too small to be worth using it on, or their abilities are already better.

If each of them worked as destruction (like Honor Burrower vs Paladins) then they'd probably be worthwhile.

I found where it talks about 1 Enoch in one of my religion study pdf-s. I guess I'll have to wait 'til next monday to ask my teacher about it. It's just too bad that her office hours are Mondays 11:00-13:00; and I found it just a little after her office hours ended.

I'm too lazy to evaluate each card set individually here, but I think Noodle wins for sticking to the original intent of giving Angels general synergy possibilities, rather than just adding more uniques with the type. The balance is a little over the place, but eh.

Vincent's cards were also good, but didn't have the interesting variety Noodle's offered. Bonus points to Silaqui for referencing Good Omens.

Hm.. I'd like to see some more robots of the super variety. Because as of now, Cakegainer is our only super robot.

GRR!!! I spent such a long time on this, and then a bead fell under my ESC key. So I tried to get it out, pressing the ESC key in the process and restoring the input window to its original content, i.e. blank. And apparently, undo only works with input; there was nothing to undo originally, and it reset to that value. I give up.

Actually, the only 2 real super robots are boss-less. Though we should definitely give Mechazor L boss, if only for flavor reasons (there couldn't be more then a handful of global monster D cards). Maybe I'll start a balance thread for that tomorrow.

Well, Mechazor L has spell/ability immune which is good enough.  Cakegainer has spell immune, which is almost as good against destruction as having both.  I like just giving it boss because it can be undizzied or modded with spells Icon_razz

like I said, Boss would do almost nothing for him, I just really like the idea of CMC's token Giant robot being indestructible. it might just be me, but I've always thought of Giant robots as the top of the food chain, the biggest, badest thing out there, and it just dosen't sit right with me that there's a mod out there that gives a giant robot a week point, or lets a stupid Cursed Warhammer kill him. and worst of all is Gildward. Gilward should never, under any circumstances, EVER be able to kill a giant robot. it is an insult to everything I stand for.

Works best with massive Lmana gen, like fountains, Columns, FoL, etc. Basically, if you have the mana you can continuously counter everything, and he can keep coming back as long as you keep 2[Image: lmana.gif]. Also, he's basically reclamation immune. I think that's a pretty super robot, myself, although I think there's better ways to spend massive [Image: lmana.gif] gen, but then, there's always better things to do than play a fun and interesting card if you're looking to win.

hmm, most of these dont feel very super. Although masa had a good flavorfull effect with the activated ability, Things to remember about super robots are wildly named attacks and abilities, rockect punches, and a strange way of being fueled, supers almost never run on conventional fuel. ALso remember that to pilot a super robot a pilot needs either a huge amount of courage, 4 other people, or some serious flaw which makes them the only person that can pilot it.
