RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
I've just updated the main cardsearcher to include the functionality to buy direct from the personal stores.
There is the backup cardsearcher here which I will keep to run the previous version.
The MT beta version will still continue to be hosted as before and when the cards officially gets released, I'll merge the changes.
@bubbleman: I'll be checking out the second life thing now...
Edit: Second life should now be fixed.

That is So handy it's not funny.
Saves a lot of time, annoyance, and even internet!
EDIT:
Found an error, when trying to buy from King of Green, it tries to buy from King ofspacebarGreen,
Getting an error2 on the buy screen due to the address being wrong.

RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
Oh, and if you choose "allying" and nothing else, it says:
It seems you have left the form empty, this will return all 99# cards continue?
(the # is there because I can't remember how many it said)

RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
I think sorting/searching based on attack and/or life is bugged.  If I try to limit my search based on a range, it returns zero cards, and if I sort by total attack+life, it seems to sort by attack.

RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
Can you give me examples of when this problem is happening for you? I just tried with basic searches for attack between 10 and 20, and life between 10 and 20 and it seems to be working...
Though it seems the javascript is bugged. I'll need to look into that sometime later.

RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
Well, just quickly, I did a search for "Type: Monster", "Attack+Life: 50-99", and got zero results.  When I removed "Type: Monster", it gave me what appear to be correct results.

RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
None of the new cards (from the expansion) are showing up!
Actually tested:
Instant Friend
Heavy Axe
Arc Lightning
So I assume the rest don't.

RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
I've noticed that as well. There's also no drop down box for MT currently either.
Another thing of note, about the MT cards. When trying to look them up in stores using the BETA searcher, I got a 500 error (I think that's what it was, trying to remember from last yesterday).

RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
It does that for quite a few things. I think it's if you don't check any boxes but it does that a lot for me.

RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
Hi All,
Sorry I haven't been back for a while - life's been hitting me hard. Very hard.
Anyways, real life aside, I'll be fixing these bugs and whatnot.
List of things to do around this weekend and next (in no order)
Fix monster type and tal related bugs
Tempoarily remove Javascript
Update with MT
Allow MT searching
Look into the 500 error
I'm having technical difficulties with the database, but should be resolved in this weekend.

RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
My cardsearcher has now been updated to include the MT expansion in the results.
Over the next hour, I'll update the web form and fix the HS results (perhaps the HS page format changed again?).
*Watch this space*
Anyone notice on which cards are the results returned with weird formatting - in particular with HS results?
The alert box has been turned off because it seemed more of a hindrance than help.  If you would really like it turned on, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Jessica: Would you happen to remember any other details about the 500 error?  I can't seem to reproduce it.
Tamdrik: Monster and totals bug should be fixed now.

That was the 500 error that popped up earlier. Also, it would appear that it's only effecting the new cards (MT expansion / new persona cards / new trophies)
In other words, any card with a number 1000 or higher.

RE: NightWind's Card Searcher
Ah, yes - thanks for pointing that out Jessica.  That's because my store searcher runs on old code that needs to be manually recompiled to search for new cards.
This is a problem for me because I had to reformat my computer and thus I lost all my java class files - being only left with the binaries - which I can't update.
So yes, my store searcher code will crash when the card id is greater than 997.  The store searcher's web form will usually filter this out, but if we're going by direct urls - then this is a risk to usability and stability. Â
I was supposed to take down the store searcher and post a redirect to this card searcher last week, but for quite a while, the web host has had technical difficulties which mean I can upload redirect.
I'll put a redirect up there now if I can and remove the search for sellers button.
*watch this space*
Drats.  They're still having technical difficulties.  Looks like I have to take down the store searcher without replacing it with a redirect...
Anyways, I have removed the button from the card searcher results that points to my java store searcher. I will also be taking down all the files on my store searcher.
