It's just rumors so far, but did see on another forum that Nintendo supposedly copyrighted the names Dusk Silver and Dawn Gold.

Didn't they register those names forever ago? Well over a year? Which is fairly common practice btw.

Looked on google again to make sure I didn't pass over something, and still see nothing official announced. So unless, you can prove me wrong with an actual link, it shall be classified as rumor until then.

EDIT: While unrelated to what masa said, I was still masa sniped. And people wonder why I hate sniper only games of Halo. >_>

In the early japanese versions of RBG there was a glitch where you would cause your pokemon's move set to randomly glitch away and it would give or take away exp, give a new moveset and seemingly randomly evolve your pokemon. You could get kinda funny things like Dugtrios with Ember. Often this glitch just didn't work and just the game's graphics would just go all funny. Gold, because both me and akujin will want Silver, and she always gets first choice as a matter of course.

gold. i perfer silver but recently i've been much more interested in ho oh and would rather have it than lugia.

Ho-oh is so useless now thanks to stealth rock. The only passable ubers spinner is forretress, and he gets killed now that everyone's wised up and started mixing their physical attackers. >_> Also, Silver is just so much cooler.

If I get either (I don't have a DS), probably gold. I already bought silver when it first came out.

Of course, I prefer Silver so I dunno...

And leveling pokemon that are low is a pain in the ass. Took me a while to figure out how to effectively grind poke-levels again.
