Phase 10: Losing it; Chapter 1: Wrong Side of the Line

I am totally for that rule, since it saves me the almost something like work.

Gluon doesn't want to hurt civilians, so he's not that bad.

Just because he doesn't want to hurt civilians doesn't mean his intentions are entirely noble. It could just be a matter of avoiding unnecessary trouble.

Though he does give off a bit of a hero vibe... or maybe that's just the radiation

Well, since you brought it up, I always thought the links were kinda annoying and redundant, but that might be because I come here only after reading the new comic to avoid spoilers. Plus, I've got the comic easily bookmarked, so if I need to go back and look at it, I can just drop it into a new tab.
So, Gluon huh? Makes me think of a combination of Iron Man (the suit), Goblin (the name) and The Hulk (the origins of his powers) with just a hint of Havok for flavor (the powers themselves).
Also, nuclear powered car engines is totally plausible in the future.

My mind went a few other places.

I find the links helpful actually. When I reread some older threads I find it hard to know which comics the posts are referring to (e.g. Best comic evar!). I then have to try matching dates on the forum and calendar...bleah.
