Drawing cards at some extra cost or restriction is pretty common in dark as is - Dream Invader, Treat Elemental, Khrima's Address, Shadow Stalking, River Kappa, Crystal, and even a (conspicuously) straightforward option in the form of Sara.
I'm not
opposed to the card being dark/light, it's just that there's no such thing as a

1/2 mana cost, and tying up an effect slot to spend 1/1 each turn to draw a card is just weak, health cost or no.
I suppose the card could be changed such that it, over two turns, draws two cards for
