I think you're thinking of when he says "I'm the wielder of the Flame of Arnor" or somesuch which refers to Narya the Ring of Fire which was given to him by that one elf that looks over the Grey Havens

edit: according to This Article he might also be referring to the fact that he's one of the Maia and a servant of the Valar
though the former explanation about the ring seems more likely to me
