Oaks Letter Coming to North America

"After the conclusion of the Member Card's distribution last Sept. 13, Pokemon.com announced recently that players of the North American version of Pokémon Platinum will be able to obtain the key item Oak's Letter from Sept. 28 to Nov. 8. Similar to the distribution of the Secret Key and the Member Card, Oak's Letter can be downloaded via Wi-Fi using the Mystery Gift feature."

people say japan isn't releasing it here
personally i think it'll be given out when the movie comes out just like shaymin but i guess we'll see

Yeah, I started it a year ago when I was only getting ~20 hours at work, so I could pass the time..

Unfortunately, I'm still playing it when I get ~45 hours...

Also! Just caught a max def/sp. def zapdos! With 23 and 26 hp and speed! Whoo! Exclamation!

I really wish I had more box space, though, I'm full up everywhere, or close to it.. Pokemon Ranch doesn't take Platinum pokes, either. Heck if I know why, that's pretty much the reason I got it. >_<

Well, since Japan hasn't gotten theirs (unless that is what you mean) I don't think NA or EU will see it for awhile. As far as Japan goes; before we get HGSS. But that is completely based off nothing, just a feeling. Feb sounds good.

It's kinda sad, but if I owned a DS the Pokewalker would actually be what would make me buy the game. I'd been wondering if I'd bother to play it (as pkmn games without emulator speed up bore the fuck out of me) and the company's near fanatical devotion to nostalgia amuses me enough that they seem like they've earned the purchase.

Sure, it's a silly little addition but it's a silly little addition for the sake of their diehard fans who have stuck around since then. That's cool.
