RE: Laying Nate/George to Rest
*wonders why no one has responded to suggestion of double dizzy to use* (positively or negatively)

RE: Laying Nate/George to Rest
I could swear that suggestion was brought up in at least 1 of the 5+ threads that have addressed N/G and got shot down.
It's a nerf but it doesn't correct the problem of being able to monster D AND not draw. Quite frankly I'm surprised you haven't suggested: " ![[Image: abilitypointer.gif]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y291/masamunemaniac/signature/abilitypointer.gif) ![[Image: abilitydizzy.gif]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y291/masamunemaniac/signature/abilitydizzy.gif) Destroy monster, draw a card" which is about the lowest "nerf" you can do.
EDIT: If you really wanted to do something off-the-wall:
![[Image: abilitypointer.gif]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y291/masamunemaniac/signature/abilitypointer.gif) ![[Image: abilitydizzy.gif]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y291/masamunemaniac/signature/abilitydizzy.gif) Destroy target monster, gain a counter
End turn: If Nate/George doesn't have a counter, destroy Nate/George
Of course, that neither addresses the monster D/no draw issue nor allows N/G to simply be a no draw effect.

RE: Laying Nate/George to Rest
It's been teh fixx0red. It still provides decking protection, it still provides repeated monster destruction, but isn't so good at doing both simultaneously. 10 card decks are now less powerful. All is good.

RE: Laying Nate/George to Rest
Since it's not technically card draw though, what happens when you have 0 cards left in your deck? Nothing/You Lose/Continues to work anyways?
EDIT: I also have this feeling that people are still going to be complaining cause its still creature destruction every turn at minimal cost.

RE: Laying Nate/George to Rest
Then let them. This was like the 6th thread before an idea was finally agreed upon. I highly doubt there will be another idea for a way to "fix" N/G that will be strongly supported for a very, very long time ^_^.

RE: Laying Nate/George to Rest
Actually, milling two cards had quite a lot of support, back during the initial balancing. Milling one card could just be an 'intermediary' balance for them, just one step along the way. If people still think that it's broken, then they can petition for that or another cost increase.
Also, from what I've heard from webrunner, milling does deck you (from Fossil Engine). This will be easy to test, but until someone confirms just assume that it does deck you.

RE: Laying Nate/George to Rest
well lets try it as it is. and if its still too powerful maybe add a % chance (say 30%) of losing a 2nd card

RE: Laying Nate/George to Rest
Adding a random factor to a card changes the card a lot. While you could say it equates to milling 1.3 cards per activation, I'd still much rather it was a definite and consistent 1 or 2 cards.
And yeah, let's give it time before proposing the next balances please.
