No, I'd never declaw kitties because it is inhumane as chopping off a person's hand - the kitties won't be able to defend themselves or scale fences to escape danger. But then kitty claws are considerably weaker than say, katanas. Heck if anything I said worked, Sera should either have fallen into the portal opening up right beneath her or should have fainted because of Kita's fangs sinking into her throat. If the primary hunting method of a predatory cat doesn't work, what can little paws do? And I never thought Sera could escape the battle where the rules were agreed on OOC'ly. If Kita wins, Sera would come with her. If Sera wins, Kita would just chase her down again. But nope, Sera just escaped. Talk about contrivance...
