RE: 1mana monsters
As far as I know, if you try to bounce a token, it will simply disappear. That was my assumption, anyway, when I suggested the ability. Yes, that would mean Mubble Woods becomes a slow, one-mana-per-activation, more easily-countered Swimsuit. That seemed okay to me.

RE: 1mana monsters
Skeleton works quite well mid/late game too if you use Donation Norlaan. Its ability is also good for discard abilities and such - being able to get a kamikaze and still be used as Karashi ammo afterwards. But more the Norlaan use.
Being better than Magic Skulls early game makes them into one turn delay buckets early game. A bad thing I think. They're also stronger than buckets with Covenant Peaks in play.

RE: 1mana monsters
Also better with Sac Site. Mana Furnance can allow you to play the Skulls immediately (though both of these require mana themselves and using both would mean a slow start).

RE: 1mana monsters
Okay, I can see your point. Sac Site and Covenant Peaks can make them rather scary, although I still say that without those cards, Skeleton would be balanced as is.
Incidentally, referencing donation cards isn't really a good argument, as powerful interactions with them seem to be accepted by the community (eg. Kelar Charmshielder + Melrak Inquisitor)

Though Sac Site doesn't affect tokens...
(Does Skeleton make a token Skull? It makes sense, but I'm not sure offhand.)

No, it makes a regular skull. Also some other bones, but nobody seems to care about those. I can't count how many times I've found free femurs because nobody else bothered to collect them.

RE: 1mana monsters
it makes a regular non-token card- i know cos i've recently built a chimera deck around this fact (since every skeleton is essentially 2 cards)

You could just say you know because you get the Magic Skull in hand; and as we all should know, token cards can't be put into your hand.

The following have been rebalanced. All looks good at first glance to me. If anything is broken in a previously unanticipated way or the like, speak up (and die).

RE: 1mana monsters
Looks good.
Just a thought: I don't play any TCGs apart from CMC and Magic. Is the term "bounce" used to describe returning a creature in play to the hand in TCGs other than Magic? It's not an official Magic term, but if it's used almost exclusively for Magic, I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to use it in CMC (goofy wordy Hammer cards aside.)

I think it's used to to space restrictions. That said, it could do with being in the help file glossary (and I'll add it to the wiki later).

That the ability flag on K-Army Guy hasn't been set is a bug issue rather than a balance issue.

Thank you for that informative reply to my less than perfectly specific question.

RE: 1mana monsters
wait a mo- are we saying that k army can snipe for 19x3 damage? it's not really very clear.
even with a bounce, isn't that a lil high? (57 damage ...) i like the kelar citizen's ability - match's meilar's one so i think it fits in quite nicely.

RE: 1mana monsters
If your field is full of soldiers, and the opponent's field is full of monsters, and nine of the ten effect slots are also full of soldiers, then yes, they could snipe for 57 damage each. Well, the abilities.csc might well limit it to just monsters and not effects, but theoretically from the wording, yes...
But for the most part lets just say they can snipe for a maximum of 5x3=15 damage, assuming the opponent has no soldiers. On the play phase, with 5 nontoken K-Army Guys, they could all snipe together (replaying in between) for 75 distributable damage, at a cost of ![[Image: dmana.gif]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y291/masamunemaniac/signature/dmana.gif) 5 and all of them dizzying.
They're powerful once you've established field control, but I think they work kinda similarly to Ooze (in theory) with regards to sniping from a control position. Except with a lot of differences, most of which are for the better. Actually just ignore that comparison.
