Humble beginnings?
Okay, so I'm re-reading the ADV! archives, and I'm amazed at how far Webby's art skills have come since those humble days. It makes me wonder what we can expect to see from him six years from now.
Anyway, as I was reading, I began to wonder. Since the comic is done, and we now know who the Player is, and that the end of the comic depicts one of several remakes of the game, can the ...er, primitive art of the early comics be explained as lower-res versions of the game? What I mean is, as the comic progresses and the art gets better, are we still seeing the same version of the game, or are the better looking parts from later higher-res remakes?
Let me use an actual game as reference, like Dragon Warrior 1. If ADV! were based on DW, would the early comics be the original NES release, with the later comics being from the GBA, SNES and other releases of DW?
Or, am I trying to hard to explain the artistic discrepencies in the comic?

I remember one time when I had my memory erased ... wait, no I don't.
