The status effect "Mummy Rot":
Draw Phase: (85-5*monster's mana cost)% chance, if monster's life is less than (5*monster's mana cost) it is obliterated, otherwise, it takes that much damage.
My Comments:
-A supernatural disease in D&D. Unlike other D&D diseases, two successful saves in a row does not remove it.
-The draw phase ability, although its wording is awkward and might not work, should first see if the monster avoids taking damage, then figure out how much to deal, then if the damage should destroy the monster, it obliterates it rather than dealing the damage.
-The spell struck me as being slightly less useful than Space Leech: it deals less damage against anything that costs 1-3 even if it works all the time. Larger monsters have a better chance of resisting it. It doesn't prevent your opponent from modding their monster. It also is counterable. Thus, it costs less.
-The % chance of its draw phase ability working comes from the fact that it deals no damage on a successful save. The monster's fortitude save bonus is assumed to be roughly approximated by its mana cost. Mummy Rot's save DC is 16 (coming from a normal mummy), so a 1st level commoner with average constitution should save 20% of the time.
-Since Mummy Rot in D&D does constitution damage, it deals more hp damage to characters with a larger amount of hit dice (or in this case, a higher mana cost).
-The obliteration part of the ability comes from the description of the disease in the Monster Manual. "An afflicted creature who dies of mummy rot shrivels away into sand and dust that blows away into nothing at the first wind."
-If this card existed, I bet few people would use it, due to the randomness. Could probably stand a damage boost.

So it looks like the most common strategy with these cards is to use them both to obliterate your opponent's monsters. Seems like a workable strategy, but it would probably work best using monsters that only take partial damage like Eikre and then only with some life boosts.

im not sure, i dont have card making experience, but id say Flood is ok (yes i based myself on Halo, not particularly from the game, but from the Halo Graphic Novel, Bungie's 5th comic tough the other 4 are erm... almost entirely unknown by our comic-ignoring society), and that Crazy Madness would have to be Rarity 100 or something like that, and would be about 10-15k market value since itd be so easy to make a Boss non-TDQ deck with it...
then again, webrunner doesn't create our cards, tough i am suspicious he could even if just subconsciously get inspired by reading our entries. Thing im not even sure he does. I know you have wiki open, search the defenition of suspicious while you are at it. You are bound to find that it includes the one who suspects to not be entirely certain of what he says.
oh, and if i am chosen, please C-Mail me cause i only stopped by this because i added this to Favorites. why? cause i was enjoying the sea-related cards. i would give 10k points to someone if that person actually got the fish-eating-smaller-mana-costing-fish-cards to exist!!

Honorable mention to King Bagbuss's Hypocondriasis, that would be an annoying bugger! Combo with salvager for PAIN.

Well, the easy way to get rid of it is to kill everything that has it, but I guess if your opponent doesn't care about their own monsters' attack... oh well.
