Whoa, I won. Awesome.

Hmmm... Here's something. I want you to create a new monster type, a monocolor one, and any number of cards that exemplify it. For example, a dark race of snake people that always have some amount of death touch and have activated abilities themed around dizzying and dizzy-locking.

Edit: The type has to be original, too. I know CMC doesn't have dwarves or merfolk, but that doesn't mean that you can just make a dwarf card. Make your own race of dwarves that have the type "dwarf," and give them something that makes them unique not only to the game but different from every other "dwarf" in the world.

Edit: Okay, I'm deleting my Cthulhu entry. It wasn't fun at all to make and now I'm trying again with a dwarf/elf hybrid race.

Second Edit: Hey guys, I just realized that they have to be monocolor, so please just treat my dwarf-elves like I cut off the light costs and tacked on half of the light cost onto them as grey mana. Do spells have to be monocolor as well? If so, please change all dark costs to grey costs, and the light rule applies to those as well. Sorry about the mix-up!

PS Please don't actually edit my posts. Not that I think you guys would or that I merit that much attention, I just like 'em light-grey for my own purposes, and want to remember what they would cost if they really were light-grey. Thanks! I'll add this to my dwarf-elf post.

I suppose I'll throw my hat in the ring. To give an idea of what they would look like, Guardians in this case are solid magical constructs who's only physical component is some sort of trigger or storing device. Generally speaking they take the form of an intimidating armored figure who's features are obscured, although they could be most anything. While they would usually be found protecting structures or cities of importance they are occasionally part of an escort or used on the field of combat.

As far as the stuff below itself, I doubt it's well balanced. It also looks quite long because the only way to get any guardians into play is via casting a spell or detokenizing shenanigans.
