A stretched single pixel is fine - if you've chosen to not display the cardarts then you don't need any messages reminding you

Thanks for letting me know Jess, and also thanks masa for sending me the data. Though I'd have to say that I'm currently having problems updating the database. Will let you know when it's done. So glad this isn't a balance update...

I'm in currently in the process of manually updating the database, but have run into some problems. Dethstrik currently shows up as unique when it isn't and the card text is missing. This will be fixed later in the night.

Cardsearcher now has the following problems fixed:

1084 - Dethstrik Locust - now correctly comes up as non-unique
1084 - Dethstrik Locust - card text now visible
'No image' option tweaked as per masa's suggestion.

I have updated NightWind's Cardsearcher - you guys should be able to see the 3 new cards.

This is the first time I've done a full production update without NW by my side giving me tips (I followed the instructions straight off and made some guesses), so contact me if anything's wrong.

I always figgured Night and Wind were split personalities, like Sakubo.

Correct - I 'm neither. I look after all of NightWind's code and role playing on these forums, including proxy posting. I was picked and assigned by Night. In return for looking after the stuff, I get to see and touch NightWind's gorgeous code. It's a pretty good contract.

Question: How often to Balance Updates and new cards come out? Any planned in the near future?


So true.

New cards come out after the shigatsu / fall tournaments, and certain holidays usually such as christmas / halloween / valentines / CMC anniversary / and I might be forgetting one. As far as when new card sets are released, hard to tell. My gut wants to say one could be coming in a couple months (as it has been a while), but it's really impossible to know that at all unless you're a mod.

As for balance updates, they usually happen before a major tournament (since fall should be around the corner, I'd expect one within the month probably) and at least one or two other times iirc.

Noticed this when searching donations. But under Norlaan (donation) and Argent (clash - pre-transformation), there appears to be a seller by the name of ;251,5,650 . Thinking that was an odd name, I load up the personal store page, do a ctrl+f search, and see nobody by that name. Don't know if there's any other instances like that, but it did catch my eye as odd.

That's yourname's shop. If you get error's, you can manually check the text output to work out where something is (or manually search it if the Card Searcher is down).

That's most likely a parse error. It found the card id, but somehow can't find the name.

"yourname" currently is selling Norlaan (937) @ 15000 with 1 in stock
name,yourname,;251,5,650,;937,1,15000,

"yourname" currently is selling Argent (251) @ 650 with 5 in stock
name,yourname,;251,5,650,;937,1,15000,

So the case has been isolated down to any card sold in yourname's store. It will come up as "251,5,650," simply because my parser found "name" in "yourname" too early and thus thought 251,5,650, was the name.

I've put in a fix for the store output here. Can you try it along with other store searches and let me know if it fully works?

Right now, Zeku's store appears first in the data feed, so I'm curious to know if it still works if Zeku's store isn't first. There is a large difference because Zeku's store does not have the ";name," and is just "name,"

How are the stores orded in the data feed? By last purchase or setup date?

And it seems we're getting "gn='center'>N/A" for a generic Argent search. My card searcher should hide the transformed Argent (371) because it theorectically isn't available as a sellable item. But I'll have to check the code and database to see if I can filter it out. This is on my todo list.

There's a couple like that actually. transformed argent (371), transformed blanc (374), Crossover (387/388), transformed Gnarlborg (686), transformed Sheena (687), DLK forms 2,3,4 (691/692/693), transformed Fanny (695), transformed TR-32 Variable (925), L / D Lens Laser (927/929).

I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say fix (my first assumption was yourname's store but that doesn't seem to be the case). Also, not sure what may or may not still work, but nothing appears any different to me, so I guess that's a success?

As for how the stores are ordered, if you're referring to the personal store list on the cmc pages, it is by setup date.

They're actually referring to this, but it's the exact same order as the store listing anyway.

You've got "In boosters" to hide it from regular searches, and "Hide card if no sellers found" to hide it from store searches.

Remember that the card searcher isn't just for searching the personal stores

There's just been a balance update.

Ah, thanks for pointing them out. Now I have a few more cards to check against to make sure that they are fixed. Maybe I forgot to put some formatting in for this. It seems that these are all transformed cards. I'll have to check this out in more detail.

Yeah, it sounds like a success - the cardsearcher is no longer showing a number as the name. You can compare sandbox2 and the main site to see the difference.

Fix for "gn='center'>N/A" has been deployed to sandbox2.

Let me know if the issues recently mentioned have been fixed and I will move it to the main site.

Off to bed now with a throbbing headache.

Cardsearcher (all sites) has been updated to reflect the most recent update.

All I need now is confirmation that the above bugfixes on sandbox2 work so that I can move them into the main site.
