Problem should be fixed now... Jess, can you confirm?

Repeated the search I did when noticing the problem, and the first one (4-5 hours ago) and the more recent one loaded and there appear to be no problems.

So all is looking good. *knock on wood*

I might just be entering the wrong thing (aka an idiot)

but I selected Modifier (Monster) and Dark-Grey as my color and I expected to get the result heavy Axe but instead I'm getting an error

Depending on the error you got, it might have just been that the system was cold and needed to warm up. Seems to happen occasionally if nobody searches anything for a while. Happened to me in the past. Give it time, and it should be fine.

Just to make sure, I did a DG monster mod search and it loaded up fine for me.

Just by the way, I reckon it'd make sense to have the searcher list "modifier (monster)", "modifier (effect)" and "modifier (entity)" all as a single type of "modifier".

EDIT: So all of dm, de and db as a single option, rather than individual.

I don't think there is a "modifier (effect)" search.

Yeah, Jessica would be right on this one. If it doesn't work the first time then wait 5 mins and try again. That should be enough to kick start the code engine.

I can possibly make the change over the weekend. Though is this more for simplicity as there aren't too many modifiers (27 cards total)? Would anyone actually want to differentiate between modifer (entity) and modifier (monster)?

Because there aren't currently any modifer (effect) cards, but once one is released the searcher will need that added.

I've made a test version which should return all modifiers in one go. masa, can you please test and confirm that it's all working as expected?

The modifier search is working fine, but unfortunately a search on any other card type (monster, effect, location or spell) is being treated as a modifier search as well and not working.

example (this is a monster search but it's returning all 27 modifiers and no monsters.

I've updated the modifiertest site with new code, so it should be working now. masa, can you please test?

Seems to be working fine!

Main site has been updated with the change for modifier searching.

Though I will be leaving the forums, Horo, a friend of mine will be looking after my code. So rest assured that matters will be attended to.

masa - do you know when the next balance update will take place? Horo can upload the new data into the cardsearcher.

Whether she implements other feature requests will be entirely up to her.
