RE: Reka sucks.
Okay, I hear what you're saying and respect that, but what I'm pointing out, primarily, is that the boost doesn't need to be that big to be beneficial to Reka. I think we've reached a point in this thread where we can either boost Reka or we can boost anything that falls under the umbrella of "Robot Decks". We're not trying to make her universal (or rather we shouldn't be) but we're trying to give her more of a use, and that use would be as a good midgame card that supports late game cards, something a life reset would do.

RE: Reka sucks.
Wait, no, what's wrong with what Panda said?
He said it'd be worse with 2 robots (there may be a couple more, I'm not counting, but it's a low number).
It'd be approximately the same with a lot of robots. That is your argument Blue, but Panda never mentioned anything about those robots.
It'd be better for a lot of large robots. We've all already agreed on this.
I don't see any flaws. He's omitted to mention cards that for the most part wouldn't change, and that's fine, because you generally don't bring up all the stuff that wouldn't change.
But anyway, my argument for why this is a bigger boost than you seem to think it is: You put Reka into a deck that uses no lifegain, uses no or few small robots, but does use large robots. By not including the cards that the new Reka would be bad with, you eliminate all of the bad differences in the ability, and get to maximise on the good parts.
And another point: All of the negative changes are actually situational positive changes too. What if the opponent is using robots with lifegain? You get to revert their lifepoints to default. Reka can now offensively repair boosted robots.
Also, small damage doesn't necessarily need to come from attacking small monsters - there are numerous traps, snipers, and so on which are capable of dealing small amounts of damage.

Disagreeing with someone's argument isn't flaming. Calling you a moron is flaming. Moron.
Blue_Elite Wrote:Yes, it hurts some robot related cards. I wonder if it really helps all ~30 robot cards to reset life rather than heal:
Pretty much. It hurts two card, is equal to heal on most, and is better than heal on a number. I think someone said that number is 10? So yeah, pretty much it's a relatively minor boost with downsides and upsides, both of which can be manipulated to negate a lot of the downsides, if not all of them.
I really don't see why this argument is continuing, if everyone is making pretty much the same conclusions...

I think that this is one of the wisest things posted in this argument. And I can't agree more.

Change ability to "![[Image: abilitypointer.gif]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y291/masamunemaniac/signature/abilitypointer.gif) Target robot's life is set to its default life": Ultros, sXeAndriex, Noodle, ThePanda, akujintails, ルノ(with activation cost 1-2 ![[Image: lmana.gif]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y291/masamunemaniac/signature/lmana.gif) )
Total: 5
Fine as is: Vincent, Spoony pwner(assumed), bubbleman2(I'm guessing you don't want +5 life anymore), Nacho, Kennisiou, NOLDER
Total: 6
This is actually pretty funny. About 4 people either dropped from pro-boost or switched to against-boost. At the beginning of this thread there was a majority in support for a change and a minority against it. As the thread dragged on, people seemed to get literally disgusted with how the debate was going and either removed their vote (Ultros, for example, retracted but said "if a change does happen") or decided that they were convinced that Reka's ability was worth the -5 attack compared to 4 ![[Image: lmana.gif]](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y291/masamunemaniac/signature/lmana.gif) Karn.
Given how close the standing is, I would normally say this needs more discussion. But seeing as how more discussion just leads people to say "don't change the card," I'm going to feel pretty safe in saying this debate is done in favor of no change.
Besides that, there really isn't much more to add. You can go through the last 100 posts if you want; it's not as bad as it looks as a lot of arguments are re-hashed to death so you can skim most of it past post ~#40.

RE: Reka sucks.
Pretty much, yeah.
I'd be fine with leaving her as-is as well, with the default-life-with-a-small-cost option as an alternative if people really wanted a change.

Whatever works. Wouldn't mind +5 life, but I'm not very enthusiastic about it anymore.
