Whatever happened to Joey?
The last thread died before we ever got anywhere with him. It was 5 for x25 attack per slime and 6 for a life boost.
I'd like to see him at x25 attack per slime really, the fact he counts your opponent's slimes isn't worth much since slime decks aren't nearly as common as they used to be.
Also, Crossroad getcarded because that was the comparison made in the last thread.
EDIT: Also, two threads in a row. Again. Bah, I'm going to go play Guitar Hero until I fall asleep. Good night.

RE: Whatever happened to Joey?
I have an idea.
What about making him "unigue slime fan". That way he could count himself as a slime and will also have slime synergy for totems, monument etc etc.
Too strong?

Yeah... except he isn't a slime.

Like Masa said. It's not a bad idea, but flavor wise, it doesn't make any sense.
The x25 attack might be alright though.

recolor his hair green. I think he's fine as is in the gloop/ooze deck you're playing him in he will almost always have 80 attack. The only change I would be for is letting him benifit from slime synergy but thats not flavorfull so there is no change. Also he has 2 more sac then crossroads which is usefull for bringing out a gloopzilla or a slime dragon to replace him.

RE: Whatever happened to Joey?
And on top of that, it's not exactly completely unheard of for the opponent to be running Slime Valley in a non-slime deck...

RE: Whatever happened to Joey?
Or Oozes. He's fine, really. I used him in my Zilla deck for a while until I managed to get a third Zilla and he was good for his cost. Yes, the Zilla was better, but that's because the deck was built to make a Zilla better than your average beatstick.

RE: Whatever happened to Joey?
I don't know what I voted for in the last thread, but I think he's OK now. Slimes tend to multiply very quickly, so having him jump in with 60, more often 80 attack is very common, and his extra sac can be helpful. +15 attack if used properly and +2 sac if used as more of a throwaway is probably worth the 5 life difference.

but counting on that is a bad move, as slime valley is'nt anywhere near as common as it used to be

RE: Whatever happened to Joey?
You don't count on it - you still fairly easily get a 80/60 saccable for the cost of a 65/65 hero. There's just a small chance that you can get a further attack boost on top of that.
Plus, yeah, tons of slimes have been boosted recently. Joey's had enough proxy boosts to make him worthwhile.

No. He still isn't worthwhile.

RE: Whatever happened to Joey?
x25 seems fine since the main problem is that currently you need to have four slimes on the field when you play him to make him as good as Crossroad, this means that there's little incentive to use him over Crossroad, even in slime decks.

RE: Whatever happened to Joey?
I still say he's a filthy backstabbing traitor for rooting for your opponent's slimes, but since web said he's a fan of all slimes, not just the ones on his team, I'm fine with plain X25.
