New Pokemon

Wow, those are... I'm suddenly feeling nostalgic for gen 3. And I didn't even like gen 3.

Also note the updates. Confirmed Electric and Fire for the Mascots.

Shit, that ground/dark alligator looks like it could have potential. Both abilities are hugely competitively viable. With decent offensive stats and bulk, I can see that guy as a contender in OU. Random wi-fi is finally here, so that's cool. Too bad it'll all be ubers or "no legends" or "Nintendo rules" all of which create some really unhealthy and overcentralized competitive metas that just aren't diverse or fun when it comes to what's truly viable for winning. The chinchilla... A normal type with technician. Hopefully this one finally gets quick attack. Dropped the ball on ambipom and persian, although technician quick attack on a normal type is still weaker than extremespeed on a normal type. Giaru... Plus and minus are on more than plusle and minun now, so that's something I guess? Too bad steel typing still means using plus and minus pokemon together in doubles is suicide since they're still both earthquake weak. Maybe it evolves into something that resists ground or is immune to it? Steel flying, steel bug, or steel grass could all be cool.

On the non-competitive side, finally there's a female professor. The glass ceiling in pokeprofessoring has finally busted open!

There's been a female professor before. Professor Ivy.

The show doesn't count, Nacho.
